Hank Haney was an awful swing coach, and it's a shame not many people realize that. Yes, what he taught Tiger worked for a few years, but he really screwed up Tiger's natural approach to the? game of golf. Sean Foley is a scientific and efficient golf instructor and he knows the proper way to play golf. But now it's taking Tiger a long time to pick up the Foley stuff because his mind is still polluted with the garbage Haney taught him. It's a shame. Butch and Foley are good; Haney was not.
