Completely false. Windows 2000 was based on the much more robust Windows NT core, while Windows ME was? a reskinned 98 that basically removed features to look "modern".

Windows 2000 was? Windows Me, but with a focus on business computing. There really wasn't much of a difference.

Been there and done that. Yep,? have been through all of those upgrades and versions. "Cloud computing" will probably be the "end" of MS Windows. Thank God!

Well, okay then. Didn't know that. :P (And apparently my tech guy dad didn't? either... or didn't tell me...) Maybe he was unable to find a version of ME that he could get to upgrade? Like he couldn't find one that would install without errors, so he just skipped it and didn't mention it? ...I don't know. :-/

I loved this. Something funny was I was installing Windows? 2000 Pro and Windows XP Home Edition on my computer from 2006 while I was watching it.
