mirko looked really good tonight. he was fast, kick a lot ( loren's right side was totally red) and was finally able to use? his right hand again. ok loren isnt a world class fighter but i was really impressed by mirko's performance

The heavyweight division is a totally different game altogether, the weight of a fighter can vary by 65pounds. Struve is lanky? but not big and strong compared to everyone else. Jon Jones is big and and strong compared to everyone else in his division, it gives his better wresting power and striking range. His striking technique is average if anything. But his size makes things alot easier for him. Im not dismissing his skills completely, but if he was of normal size he would be averagely ranked.

Hight has nothing to do with how good fighter is in mma. I think average men hight is best for mixed martial arts? (it's 180-190cm I guess), while in k-1 or boxing or any other martial art higher oponent with longer limbs has the advantage.

Mirko was? almost always the smaller guy,he was a pretty small HW...But you can't attribute Jones success solely on his size,because by that logic Stefan Struve would be the hw champion and he is no where near that....I don't like the guy either,but you can't dismiss his skill.....

Jon Jones compared to this guy is a fraud. Crop Cop was the same size if not smaller then his opponents and he still won championships. He worked? and trained his ass off. His striking in his early days was nearly flawless, time caught up sure. Jon Jones is just big, and once Dan Henderson hits him, Kansas is going bye-bye.
