if the chev had a 5.0, the chev engineers would have only figured out a way to put 320 hp in it lol, ford has underarted the hp figures in the 5.0, because of what they did in the past. most 5.0's are putting down a? good 380 rwhp, ford got caught with their pants down in the past, now they are underrating their engines.

Both badass cars. I? own a 2012 camaro ss but man those mustangs gt are a lot of fun, too. I've taken out a Mustang gt on the freeway on my SS. But then again, i just lost a race recently to another mustang gt on a drag race. All up to the driver lol. Drag race, i think mustang gt takes the win. I just think the camaro ss has more personality, love the design.. But idk, the more i see the mustang gt, the more i want one. If u buy either one, u will own the road.

@johansanchez08 I see you still have not looked it up cuz if u had, you would have found the 5.0 weighs 430 lbs and the 6.2 weighs 415 lbs. it weighs more cuz its a different engine design....i think this is common sense (u soelled sense wrong) to take into consideration.? Im not saying u have to take my word for it, look it up for yourself so u dont sound like an illiterate idiot.

Actually buddy it does weight more and its way more powerful and i think its common since that it is heavier? just by the 6.2 being a larger number then the 5.0.

5.0 vs 6.2 i feel sorry for all u mustang lovers the camaro is heavier only because it has a way bigger engine then the mustang. If we had a 5.0 camaro it? would probably be as light as the mustang and probably even lighter and still faster. ;)

I love GM products, I'm normally a Camaro guy, but I've gotta admit, the current 5.0 Mustang blows the? 6.2L Camaro away in pretty much every measurable way. I can only hope Chevy ups their game for the new 2015 Camaro

The Mustang and Camaro are in the same price range and the Mustang is a? hell of a lot faster for the price. Get your facts straight you before you try to put down a car. Also, the Mustang came first.

Well I know the tents of a second count for next to nothing on the street but? everyone else had the 5.0 in the mid to high 12's and ahead of the camaro. But these cars are very close and it comes down to a drivers race.

FORD is rocking it, Camaro tried the retro look after Ford did=FAIL..........on the track or a back road with driving? it like you stole it the Mustang will take the slomaro 95% of the time. Actually the first muscle car was? the Chevy. They made the first SUV and truck. Chevy kicks mustangs off the road. Plus Camaros are half the price for more torque and horsepower. Chevys are all around more better. Plus I don't think Ford had the first car/truck (El Camino SS). All ford is good for is demolishin derbys. Think of something more for Ford, oh wait! There is none. Ha Ha Ha.
