easy example, marthonic surgerys that last about 8-10 hours take so long because the medic has to leave and enter the room to check the computer to know where is he cutting or sewing, washing his hands every time since the computer can't be in the same room the sick guy is, with kinect, they just put the? screen and when the doctor has to check something he just moves his hands, your lack of imagination surprises me.

Well, the one for Windows is designed specifically FOR Windows. The Xbox one requires different drivers, and thus only works with Xbox. In theory. In reality, the Xbox Kinect was broken long ago, and 3rd party drivers are available, allowing you to use it on your PC, however the lack of direct MS support means if you screw the pooch, they are gonna tell you "Nope, nothing doing. Buy? the proper one next time."

i found a page "kinect for windows" and it says you can buy the hardware (the sensor)there, but it seems to be that is an special kinect sensor the one wich works with windows... or at least that's what i've understand, is that right? do i need an special kinect for work? with windows? or can i just use the one that comes with the xbox...?

I had this on my Tablet for Windows 7 before installing Windows 8... Can't remember the name, was contained in? Windows Live package or Windows 7 Touch Utilities...not sure which of them, but it's made by Microsoft.

Wow. No, wait. I meant to say useless. Look at the first 3d city bit. Made me feel motion sick. What if you wanted to zoom in, and just look at it? Do you have to hold your hands up in the zoomed? in position constantly? If you want to write with your finger on the screen, or wave some pictures around on the screen with one of your friends you are sorted. On Xbox360 I can see the point. Not on PC. Early days though. Early days. My office will be getting me to type with one next... ha!
