Actually it's an executive branch of the US Government. Only for a few years between 1965-1968 did they reach their peak funding of 5% of the Federal budget. However, no-one stole any money or got rich. If you do the sums, over the period, subtracting the cost of the Saturn V's alone, the average salary for a NASA worker is pretty reasonable.? Your problem is that you have no cost estimate or breakdown as to where the money goes. You're just making clumsy accusations.

They didn't though, did they? They explored the surface of the moon with unmanned probes first to see how dangerous it? was: Surveyor program. They photographed the moon to look for a good landing place: Lunar Orbiter program. They achieved orbital endurance, rendezvous and docking, and spacewalking: Gemini program. Then they took 10 Apollo missions before finally going the whole way with Apollo 11. Seems pretty cautious to me. Any lies there buddy? Anything incorrect?
