No, stop pretending the Original Wii is for mature gamers, especially that it was advertised towards younger kids and families. Rated M games? are for mature (17+) aged people. And I'm not going to? lie OoT is the best game made to date, but so the fuck what? That means literally nothing at all. Its been a decade and a half since OoT and since then Nintendo has seen a VERY big decline in quality, even Skyward Sword wasn't near as good. It was good, it had great aesthetics and a pretty good story, but still disappointing a little bit overrated.

not to mention wii had a piece of shit controller with only one analog stick and considering motion controls suck because they arent immersive (you can run around swinging your sword and it can bounce of a wall and your arm just keeps on going, that breaks immersion. on the metacritic note ya SMG has high scores but thats 2 games (well one and a half at most, SMG2 was a rehash more than a sequel considering it didnt even change gameplay at all). Overall it has a fraction of acclaimed titles.?

For sure gameplay is important, but it? is also intimately connected with HW specs, I said the E3 sucked for Nintendo because they focused their presentation way too much on their new controller, and if u think that gameplay is somehow limited just to the "controller", you're wrong, gameplay also has to do with hardware, a better HW means better physics and AI, and both affect directly on the gameplay area

The E3 2011 sucked for Nintendo, because they focused their efforts on? showing how different the new controller is going to be, as much as I believe this new controller with its functionality might be a hot appeal for casual gamers, but let's get real, casual gamers do not go to E3 and neither watch E3 videos. Only the hardcore gamers follow religiously E3 announcements, and we are way more interested to get to know the WiiU hardware power, over a mere accessory. Hope 2012 will be different.

Not really, it's not like a tablet or something. It doesn't have its own processor. Everything is rendered on the Wii U and streamed to the controller. It's just a resistive touch screen display basically. It'll probably cost $79-$99, which isn't that expensive compared to what WiiMotes and other system controllers already cost. Playstation's move controllers cost $110 together. Uegh..?

Well, yeah. The controllers and add-ons are what truly make a game a game. It's how we interact with what's on screen. PlayValue has a great video about it on Youtube. It's important to have a good controller and unique control schemes. But it's Nintendo that puts these native into their consoles? instead of shrugging it off as 'just' an add-on.

Now now ;)...no need for a loud outburst little child. Newer graphics cards improves on power sufficiency and? better shading and textures....which has nothing to do with the quality. You can pump up the graphics up to 2400p or higher and you won't notice anything....our eyes "flashes" at around 60 fps, so you won't tell the difference. Did I say you can't upgrade the graphics card? no I didn't, and as of now, even if there is "cgi" graphics, how much are you willing to pay for it?

why would nintendo give developers underclocked devs? maybe so there own games standout from the rest its been confirmed that nintendo are only letting devs use a fraction of the consoles power, but if they over clock the gpu/cpu that wii u is rumoured to be using? then it will be approx 4.7 times that of ps3/360. Your just have to wait to 2012 to know for sure. But if it is below 4 times the power of ps3/360 then it would be a poor show, it has to have a noticeable upgrade over 360/ps3 or flop.

Every site I've checked said either that it's equal or 50% more powerful? than the PS3. Why would Nintendo give out underclocked Wii u's to dev's anyway? There's no point at all. The controller is NOT the console. The video is streamed from the Wii U console to the controller ? so you can either play? on the tv, or if someone wants to watch something on the television, you can continue playing just on the controller (the Wii U console will have to stay on to send the video feed). Wii U is the next generation console from Nintendo that will replace Wii. Your old Wii controllers and accessories will be compatible, but you'll need the new console to play the new games.

The Wii? The Wii doesn't even support HDMI and is really underpowered; so, no, it's not pointless. I'm sorry, but I just find your comments a bit lacking of knowledge because they don't have logic. I mean why don't we call the PS3 and Xbox 360 pointless, too, when the only thing they got were the online and HD (the add-ons are exceptions)? Why don't we also add the other systems such as the SNES, Mega Drive/Genesis, etc. where the only new things were the graphics and new controls??

i find the gamecube controller to be very comfortable. its actually probably my favorite next to the classic controller pro. and n64 was pretty bad? due to the fact they didnt really know a good configuration with the joystick. and the wiis confortable too. even though they do havr a bunch of games that are for casuals you gotta look at the hardcore games that hardcore fans wanted. they definitely delivered their first party games. 2 zeldas, 2 marios, 2 kirbys, and smash bros.

However one of my biggest concerns is that he's not judging the power of each character himself. He's leaving it to a team.
