At 0010 hours Whitehall Engines 1, 2, 12, 11 and Chief 35 (Benner) respond to 10th and Livingston Streets for a car fire. On arrival, Chief 35 has a well-involved BMW 3 -series on the street. Fullerton engine 1 arrives and within 2 minutes has the fire darkened down. Crews remained on the scene for about 45 minutes. Police called for towing. The car was not stolen.

BTW, we never completed asbestos removal. It was? used in the insulation around the ducts and pipes. Interim measure was to seal it with a rubber paint, which is definitely cracked by now. Be careful what dust you stir up, and don't punch any of the insulation to watch the dust fly.
