To capture video from Camtasia you need to go to Control? panel/ and click on Display then click on Setting after that click on Advanced and click on Troubleshoot and slide down the bar about 70% or 50%. I test it and woork fine. Each player have it own Video Acceleration for windows media player you have to press Ctrl+M click on Tools go to Performace and under Video Accelaretion slide down the bar about 50% or half way click OK ...Done enjoy For real player nd quicktime is similar to WMP

Thanks! I uploaded a video of Pat Benatar performing at the Don Kirshner's? Rock Concert but the audio isn't that great. Wanted to try to spatialize enhancing the audio but sure is hell VLC would not convert. Opened my Windows Movie Maker to try and take what I thought was a saved DKRC w/VLC audio spatialize and sure as crap NO FRIGGIN CHANGE! So I will definately try the older version!!

VLC has bad seeking and an inferior renderer.. and that's about it. It works without installing codecs, plays partial files, has internal filters, can play 10-bit, can speed up audio and video, has a new subtitle renderer that works very well.. MPC-HC with MadVR is? obviously better, but VLC isn't half as bad as people make it out to be.

Let me tell you something, folks. I used to use VLC all the time and thought it was awesome - but it always was fairly laggy... and I always assumed it was becuase my laptop is fairly? old... (P3, 1gb of ram...). Just recently, I tried CCCP (with MPC) and... IT'S AMAZING! It plays all types of video files perfectly (even 480p) and there's no chopping. So.. even if you're one of those people who say "Oh, VLC is good enough for me..." PLEASE just try CCCP, you will see a difference.

My default music player is Clementine. I cannot think of a better alternative for my huge music library (75+ Gigs). It's fast. has a smooth interface, no redundant? features. The best part of this player is that it loads & displays the lyrics of the current track, so that I don't need to search for lyrics in my browser. And for video playback, it has always been SMPlayer. Renders video better and faster than VLC, especially when you are seeking across the video. Also it's key shortcuts are great.

I had the same problem. Just move the .hosts file from the original folder to desktop. than open it in? notepad, edit it ( uncomment the line ) than save it - it will let you. Than just simply move the .hosts file from your desktop back to the original folder.

I think I fixed it up but came across a new question: Is it possible to? have your media located on one desktop, stream it to a laptop, and use your phone as a remote for that laptop? when i use it as a remote when i streaming content to a different computer the volume slider never works. any ideas?

well , the best way is to wait an hour after you comment, and then post the same thing again in ALL CAPS .... it depends on your OS , but usually you can go into interface config or status and look , if you are on a LAN you will have your internal and external ip, if you connect your android device to the same wireless lan that your desktop is on , the program will find it on your android device,? if you want to go over you phones internet you find the ip for.. just fckn google it

i want to convert mp4 video to wmv to use in windows movie maker i did what you said and the video did get imported but the video quality was all messed up so i gave up i have looked at almost 20 videos on how to convert mp4 to wmv and i dont know which is the best way im starting to give up ugh :]?

... I gave up and tried using Handbrake... It's converted the file without any problems, A 10/10 | V 10/10 (? MP4, MPEG-4, AAC + add subtitles, Remember to change Constant Quality from 12 to 1 . The file gets about a 1/3 larger, but i consider that something minor in exchange for being able to play it on my TV :). Using VLC to convert didn't really give me a lot of options, so if you've got multiple audio/subtitle tracks, try using Handbrake.^^

OK I have a prob with VLC....I am using win 7...Before when? I used VLC as my default player, it would make my toolbar icons all "VLC traffic cones"....Now i don't make it my default player....But now it does something really strange...When I install VLC, and i click on any icon like excel, word, etc on my toolbar, VLC opens up....Word, excel, etc. doesn't open...Only VLC opens up ?? Any fix ?
