So why didn't I see anyone checking bearing clearances when the short-block was being assembled? I'm shocked to see that the Brits are still using pushrods. Don't get me? wrong, I love pushrods-I'm American. The most stellar performance aspect I see about this engine is its torque output. 1,020 nm. Thats 752 lb-ft. of torque! From about 410"?! And it is naturally aspirated? I almost want to call bullshit. I need to find more info about this mill.

I think that you mean pushrods not OHV (over head valves) all modern? automobile engines use OHV but many use OHC's (over head cam) instead of pushrods to open the valves. The Bentley 6.75L V8 is a very old design that has been continuously updated but it's basic architecture dates from the 1960's.

Ever wondered what a V8 engine looks like on the inside when running? This partially built engine was driven by a variable speed 3Hp AC motor. The highest speed shown is around 800RPM There is plenty of oil pressure; the 'knocking' sound is actually air chuffing in and out of the cylinders.. no spark plugs are fitted!

Interesting vid! Yes, you would have to leave the sparkplugs out spinning it with a 3 horse motor. It would use more power than that when compressing the air in the 4 cylinders with the head attached. However they would operate somewhat like a bumper cylinder, as you would get most? of the energy back when the compressed air helps to push the piston back down. The open pistons would throw a lose penny out in a big hurry!

Your? examples are bad ones. Who woult call, for example, the E90 engine a 1.9 liter? If you have a engine with 1949 ccm, so it´s a 1.9 - liter. If you have one with 1951 ccm, so it´s called a 2.0 - liter. This is used by all engine producers since many years. The AMG engine is a 6.2 liter, not a 6.3 liter. The reason is, because the engine size is closer on the mark "6.2" than the mark "6.3". Every other claim is just technical wrong.

The AMG 6.3 liter V8 is the first engine that was fully developed from scratch by Mercedes-AMG.? There is no counterpart engine from Mercedes-Benz. Why do the valves have their own runners instead of coming from a larger diameter single runner, considering head loss on the high-velocity air. I've sat down before and figured out an equation to divide a big port into two little ones spaced along a line. (I tried N-number of ports but it the ports become so curvy, you'll only be able to use cast? ones.) I need a CAD program that can make functions in space, and keep material inside or outside the curve as I specify.

metro isnt that a 3 banger one my ex girlfriends mother had a geo metro which was a 3cyl and my ex girlfriend had the geo storm which i think she got ripped off on she paid $1,300 for it they ant worth more then $500 mint but the little metro i was working on it oneday it was misfireing so i changed the plugs & wires and use a can of card and choke cleaner in it to clean out al the crap because she? never opened it up i to it out for a spin i got that car to do 110mph ran great after that

Look forward to the movie! For the truck, maybe a large, articulated all terrain. Two drive axles on front unit and two drives on aft unit. Aft unit driven by a flex shaft from front unit and carries boiler. Front unit carries new engine and? command module. Auto cannons on both units (really liked the auto gun on the Terrex !)
