I dont understand why people hate this, The r34s have a very stiff chassis with a fine tuned suspension layout even from factory, with the lightwieght large capacity ls engine? not only does the car have far more torque then the rb25/26 or even 30 could produce better wieght distribution and an overall lighter and better balanced car. I dont like chev or nissan? but this makes sense.

Your fucking jokeing......Even the 1jzgte engines from toyota destroy the rb26 for relaibility when punished, as the rb26 has serious? oiling issues at higher rpm then stock when you can take the 1jzgte to another 2000rpm above the stock redline. The sr20dett are not that relaible once taken over 370hp and most american made v8 engines are actually pretty tough, they dont need to be stressed as much as a smaller straight 6 as they make more torque from the larger capacity.

If it were any other Nissan I'd say another chevy engine ruined with a Nissan body, but who can hate a? Skyline? There's no denying this is a wicked awesome car. The LS engines are light and make excellent power reliably. Don't hate cause it's a v8.

ugh I don't usually post on videos but half the people here are idiots. This car was built for Drift Australia by GT-Autosound for the driver/owner George Spartalis. The car was bought as a shell(no engine or gearbox). George used an ls motor because they're cheap to replace make alot of noise and produce alot of torque. It's a GT-T non GTR that came from the? factory as a RWD with a rb25det single turbo motor. Stop being fanboys. I drive an r34 and think this car is awesome. Good combination.

Why wouldn't you... I like the VH...putting one? in my skyline, but if I could afford a ls series v8 I'd pick that. More compact = easier fit, more capacity, proven strength and huge aftermarket support, and in the us they're cheap as chips. It's just easier. Even here they tend to go 1uz for the same reasons. But yeah I chose the VH anyway coz it's a fucking cool motor...it'll just take longer and more $ to get it done

Swedish (ok, it was built in Sweden by a friend of mine. The kit is from UK. Are you all happy now?) Ultima GTR Twin Turbo goes from 0-340 km/h (0-211 MPH) in 19 seconds. Facts: 4 L Lexus V8 -twin turbo. Porsche 6 speed gearbox. 962 hp on regular gas. It's the first time he drove it flat out. Before this event he only took a test drive around the block. (hence the bad shifting in the first run)

the engine has additional cam sensors that remember the exact last cylinder fired and the angle where the piston is. So the starter doesn't really do much except a? nudge. As for oil pressure. It is the same as starting up a car regularly, except this time, oil is everywehre and everything is lubed, therefore it would NOT wear out the engine. It's not a dry start.

I can see why he said that. it wears the engine out and wears the starter out quicker especially in city traffic. usually start up where no oil pressure is being applied, its kind of bad on the engine cuz you can take off from a dead stop and not everything? is getting oil yet. but that's just my guess.

Even though the F10 M5 4.4l V8TT outputs more power, I feel like reliability wise it won't hold up too well overtime. Like @Gondon, generating 560PS from 4.4l sounds difficult unless BMW is pushing the engine to the limit. The 525PS from the AMG 5.5l V8TT is lightly pushed and could be upped to 560PS with confidence from AMG Performance Pack. It also sounds better than the M5, which needs artificial sounds in the interior to make the car sound like a V8.?

Lovely car. It's in lovely condition. I've got one of these, if you're sensible and realistic about the running costs / maintenance then they are fantastic cars. It's makes a great noise, comfortable, quiet? and brutally fast. Aluminium wings mirrors are expensive though, had mine stolen!

I've heard that there are RS6's with manuals swapped in them. A manual swapped RS6 (with a dashboard that doesn't light up like a christmas tree), 650 hp just to keep up with the joneses would be perfect for where I am in New England. 3 across in the back seat, the overall driveability of a stock A6, it's? perfect. Every other car in town is obviously a Subaru or an Audi.
