still don't know why this boomed so drastically.... but to be honest... he is a legend, but he sounded not confortable and did not sing relaxes and powerful. But of course he's brilliant for 76, but not brilliant enough for such a competition, where people are cruel by not voting if anything disturbs them. Unlike the russian grannies this song was build around his voice, so vocal perfection was crucial? for the performance. Nevertheless i thought it would end up between 8 - 15 in the competition.

I am from the UK, and Engelbert is apparently popular in Eastern European countries, and they have won a lot in recent years, so the UK were probably thinking they might get some votes from those countries. ? OK there are parts where she's not moving her mouth and her voice is till heard....let me tell you? somethin find a karaoke of a song and in the chorus you hear some vocals (that's the backing vocals) in fact if you listen to her song, the studio version, you will notice that she sounds like there's some backing vocals, but yeah she is singing live, you can notice in the first 40secs she's a bit of key because of t5he dancing etc. :)

I get that the show repeats itself but you also have? to keep in mind that there are new contestants every time, so it's a new group of people that get to experience a room full of patrons cheering them on. I ask you, does the current system do justice to the miracle that life is? IMHO, living is just not worth the asking price these days. If everyone emptied all their bank accounts then went on strike indefinitely, the corrupt system would be crippled within a very short time. Then we could all become self sufficient.
