I'm aware of the debates over this book, and both sides have a point. I can see this as a cautionary tale if we look at this as the boy's story instead of the tree's. If you look closely, the boy never seems truly happy as he gets older (especially as a middle-aged man, wanting? to escape and sail away because he's "too old and sad to play". So you could read this as saying "do nothing but take and you'll never be really content."

It depends on your mind, im not very good with abstract ideas. I have a hard time grasping them. I couldn't understand how to read time and why it was the way it was until very late. In the same way the articulation of mere forumulas does nothing for me, the logic and context is lost to me. But with these illustrations the logic becomes very clear, why things are the way they are. And when I know that I? can more easely accept the idea.

I've been holding onto what beads I could salvage, for they are very important to me. lol, you don't know what you're saying. It's completely stupid. If you pay artists (musicians, painters, photographers) ONLY for the original piece, they can't make a living. If they can't make a living they have to get another job that supports them. Then they don't have time to make art. So no art. People don't want to pay a lot for art but they want to have it. In? order to be able to do that, an artist must get a little bit from anyone that purchases what he/she has created. Everyone's happy

painting actually makes many things easier than in drawing with pencils........like it gives u a larger variety of tones and colors also it lets u color the dark light and the? light dark.... it also gives u the freedom to just aimlessly scribble and achieve something nice =)

I think the reason this guy puts the short note (not what I would call delirium.) at the beginning is because it's a lesson. Maybe he actually sells this video on a dvd! Anyway, if musicians were payed only for their live performances the only ones who could make any money would be the mega-stars... also, buying copies... if the? copy is made by another painter they need to get paid, and since they're copying the original the orig. painter doesn't "need" to get paid but legally should...

Hi IDyourself1, Copyrights is a huge issue that would take ages to be resolved. In short I believe that Art and commerce should be differentiated. Musicians should be paid for their live performances and not for a copy of their work. I mean if I? wanted to buy the original reel, I should pay for it. The same goes for painting, if I wanted to buy the original canvas and not a copy.
