Because WoW for most new comers in this age of mmos was their first mmo, it set a decent standard for what is to be expected. Then you have an mmo like swtor come along which is pretty much trying to take some of WoW's market away except it does everything worse and takes 6 steps back in the wrong direction. Its nice? that you like bioware and swtor but the truth is bioware can give a less of a fuck about you and it shows in every PR stunt they pull.

Majority of the fun abilities you mention in wow was not in wow at the start also the majority of things you mention here is fixed, except the rated warzone wich totally sucks and it sucks even more it was promised in 1.2, I would understand if it were like 1 week after 1.2 so some ppl had time? to farm gear the new way for rated wz. Anyways about the Scan heals, they're not supposed to be all flashy, that would be wierd right? That's not the star wars way, neither is the "connected" map.

think of what players thought of wow when it first came out?? swtor just came out and wow has been out since what 2001?? pvps in wow were not great until tbc or wotlk, exactly, wait a year or so and then make your complaints, swtor? has updates planned for almost every month, but i dont see any way to make expansions, wonder if they will, try and compare sw: galaxies to swtor, i played wow and its alright but after awhile its boring as hell, now i play swtor and i think pvp is pretty damn awesome

So this guy complains about swtor and play wow? Because there are no "fun spells" Wow haven't had? any "fun spells" since TBC, wotlk and cata completely ruined the experience. And if you wanna watch your "fun and cool" spells.. than don't play pvp, cus it will end up badly, in wow all I'm looking at is my action bar, in swtor I just look at my character so even if wow got "fun spells" the UI is so poorly executed that some people never see there characters in action cus of DPS loss

Um... SWTOR's Pvp is awesome, Huttball was one of the few things really unique and innovative things EA gave Bioware time to evolve. And if you're too noobish to play Pvp than don't. In games like Wow there is no planning or skill? required, only gear and rotation knowledge even in pvp, these knockbacks and stuns open new doors when it comes to CC in pvp and more tactics. pvp shouldn't be about gear, it should be about tactic and skills. This guy is just complaining about swtor isn't wow

i played star wars I got to lvl 39 and i had to stop I JUST HAD to stop it was so annoying pvp was horrible everything was bad. WoW? even though i dont play WoW because lets be honest you get bored of seeing the same thing the game is perfected. SWTOR will never have anything against WoW. I quit WoW for? SWTOR and I don't regret a bit. Shure, it's flawed, but I prefer a flawed, awesome game than a "perfect" boring game. I don't hate WoW, but after playing it for 6 years, it's easy to be bored of it. I'll watch these videos, so keep making them! :D

You do understand SWTOR was released 2011 and WoW was released 2004? Back then, it was still a rather new concept, despite the lack of content. Right now, SWTOR is competing against Guild Wars 2, TERA, Rift and WoW, whereas WoW has no competition when it was released. Right now, SWTOR is the most lackluster MMO of the bunch, only containing story for leveling, but piss poor endgame, just like WoW back in? 2004. They're not fighting against WoW back in 2004, they're fighting against WoW in 2012.

Did you play WoW at launch? The game was bare. Piss poor, if I might add. There were two raids, which of only one was a full fledged raid, the other one, was a single boss raid. -There was no battlegrounds. -There was no dungeon finder. -There was? no raid finder. -Raiding required 40 players at minimum. Well, the thing is WoW has become such a phenomenon people think it launched with 12 million subscribers. With time, SWTOR will exceed 5 million subscribers. I can? guarantee it. Right now is just a bad time for new MMO's. The market is so competitive right now. 1) WoW has a new expansion coming out. Over 1 million people are testing it. That contributed to the drop. 2) Diablo 3 just dropped. 3) Guild Wars 2 in beta. 4) TERA Online. Once this all blows over, expect SWTOR to sky rocket.

Only because of the MoP beta and Diablo 3. They just want to see what the expansion is all about. Everyone who subscribed to the annual pass for WoW got an automatic beta invite and got Diablo 3. Diablo 3 will only last people so long, considering it's only a 10-12 hour game. Once people have beaten it, I don't really see a reason to keep playing at this point. And there are over a million people in MoP beta right now. The numbers will go? back up.

I had been waiting for this game since SWG died, however after playing it for a few months I can honestly say...its not that great ( yet ) The lack of content, to many servers, shocking pvp mechanics and general issues, ruin this game on so many levels, while the game is still " new " BIO need to up the? speed they are pushing out patches or before to long this game with go the same way as STO and Warhammer ( F2P )

Yeah I kind of quit before 1.2 came out cuz of imbalances. And gearing issues. Legacy cool. UI? cool. But issues where with this game from jump. But i love the game. I truely do. But the fact that some critical errors where made for balancing and bugs and they made em worst with 1.2 Kind of killed the game for me. I will however return periodically to see if they have fixes. And to see if they made it better.

While I do enjoy SWTOR very much you are correct, it doesnt come close the the crafting of SWG, I would agree that was the best crafting I have used. Second? being the crafting of vanguard. I think the problem is people are just lazy now and want to spend 2 days to get to 50, 2 days gearing up.... then the last 26 days of their time complaining. The problem with SWTOR is that...The pvp sucks dick. Those that defend it are the people with high tier armors that never die. I, on the other hand, find it impossible to pvp when empire on ruubat crystal has some of the worst fucking pvpers i have ever witnessed. Not only that, But getting mezzed is just fuckin' stupid. Furthermore, if you had healed through HM EC, you'd see that pve content free of addons that play the game for you make it at least as challenging to heal as heroic DS (which I've healed also). Well EQ1 had the trinity even before all that. The trinity is used in development as a crutch for designers to make harder content without having to be very imaginative. Want to make a fight harder? increase the numbers the mobs push out. that is literally the difference between? lower level 'normal' instances and level 50 'hard mode' instances on SWTOR. Almost everything works the same except the enemies hit harder and can take more hits.

Exactly. WoW was never supposed to be based on the trinity..the EQ2 guys brought that over. Before we even knew what tanking/healing was, we were running almost all the 5 mans with the oddest of groups. No tanks, no healers. We CONTROLLED our way through the content and used the environment. That's what GW2 understands. That it should be about your ability of how to solve/combat and encounter. Not? about some dude spamming heals on a dude who is screaming at the mobs.
