now, even if marvel DID own spiderman we know The Lizard will be the villain in "The Amazing Spider-Man," a crossover between Peter Parker's universe and that of the Avengers will have everyone asking why Iron Man, Captain America, and the rest of the team didn't bother to help out when a massive reptile terrorized a New York high school. And what about the Avengers' foes? Are we to believe Peter Parker? just sat back and let Nick Fury's team handle every crisis when people were dying?

n the comics, Spiderman was never apart of the original avengers, after the team breaks up, he becomes a part of something known as? the new avengers. now with that said, the movie doesn't follow the orginal comics 100%. and even if they wanted to have spiderman in the avengers Sony owns the rights to spiderman where marvel owns the rights to Ironman, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, black widow and such

Martin Sheen and Cliff Robertson have the same acting calliber. If you've seen the late Cliff Robertson's performaces he is actually one of the greatest actors to grace the silver screen. I read Uncle Ben's lines in the comics, I hear his voice which fits the beautiful artwork perfectly. I've seen Sheen act in other movies, he's quite an actor. I just don't? believe the simple fact that he's in the new one to be game over for this series. Cliff is an acting legend, as is Sheen.

So finally, I don't say it is intolerable that "The Amazing Spider-Man" takes the liberty of diverting from the original stories, but I say it is not praiseworthy stating that the new movie is going to? be more faithful than those by Raimi - which are not, absolutely accurate to the original stories, but at least the global "spirit" of what Stan Lee created (and the look of the costume is a good example for this), concerning the relationships between the characters and the evolution of Peter.

The original trilogy was amazing, whether you like it or not. I am not saying that the reboot will suck, but I do not like seeing my favorite comic book character? being reinvented that way. first of all, when a company makes a movie, they own the rights..in hollywood you have so many years with the rights, if there isn't another movie, you no longer own the rights, and another company can take it. actually in the comics peter parker always had web shooters not organic webbing. With all due respect, I happened to love Raimi's trilogy, but only for the fact it was Spider-Man. Now that I look back at the movies, I realized, in story terms, the movies made no sense whatsoever. However, this makes a ton of sense. Peter's parents played a key role in the Spidey mythos (directed to the individual who said the parents being in the movie? made no sense), he actually fell for Gwen awhile before MJ ever showed her face, and yeah, the suit isn't as cool as Raimi's but it's cool.

In fairness, I believe this incarnation is meant to deviate from the comics to a significant degree as well. While there won't be anything as ridiculous as organic webshooters, the series is going to examine the importance of Richard and Mary Parker on? a level quite unlike the classic comic books. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing; I'm actually looking forward to seeing where Webb takes the Spider-Man mythos, and like Raimi's interpretation, I'm sure that it will be fantastic. :)

Original my face! Spider-Man was never a? skateboarding hipster. The only authentic thing about this film is the web shooters and Gwen Stacy. The first film was much more authentic in fact most of the scenes came straight out of the comic book like the Uncle Ben scene, Green Goblin's death. Still, despite all these changes, I'm still gonna watch it 'cause I'm a sucker for Spider-Man.

The plots aren't repetitive the game play is repetitive. I don't mean among all of the games I'm just? talking about within each game. There may be different twists that make the game unique to other spidey games, but in my opinion I have found all Marvel games to have very repetitive game play and get boring after about an hour. But I can see that they are trying to spice it up a little with the whole "Web Rush" thing. Which is good.

Well, Spider-Man was funny and full of unlockables, Spider-Man 2 is known to be THE Spider-Man game with? the free roam, in Ultimate Spider-Man you have Venom, in Spider-Man: WS you have an apocaliptic game, in SM:SD four different Spider-Men, in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance a full army of Marvel Heroes. Wow! The moves/positions of Spider-man in this one pay absolute homage to the comic book drawings compared to the 3 "others". VERY beautiful and likable? to devoted Marvel Comics fans, who have always felt let down on where the movies didn't pay enough attention to the original stuff. The only thing apparently wrong - if may say - here, is Peter Parker's hair: they should have sticked to the classic comic book style, then Garfield would have looked like a spitting image of PP!

Sony it. now, even if marvel DID own spiderman we know The Lizard will be the villain in "The Amazing Spider-Man," a crossover between Peter Parker's universe and that of the Avengers will have everyone asking why Iron Man, Captain America, and the rest of the team didn't bother to help out when a massive reptile terrorized a New York high school. im really excited for the reboot Andrew Garfield is gonna have to work alot to fill these shoes but im sure its gonna be great. The only reason Spiderman 3 sucked was cuz sam raimi lost alot creative controll but the 1 thing thats pissing me off is that Spiderman wont be in the avengers2 snce sony films owns the rights to? spiderman films
