True, i? just looked that up last night. But u must admit that in some comics Kingpin has been mentioned various times. I dont recall if he has been seen though. If u ever have the chance to see the script for the second movie or sequel to The Amazing Spiderman, u will see that Rhino & Scorpion is an option for the movie. "Cuz the second, if im not mistaken, is suppose to be Scorpion, Rhino & Kingpin" I'm don't know where you heard? this, but I'm sure it's incorrect. Especially considering Sony owns rights to the Spider-man movies, while Fox has the rights to Kingpin due to him being in Daredevil. And thus making him off limits for a Spider-man film.

now, even if marvel DID own spiderman we know The Lizard will be the villain in "The Amazing Spider-Man," a crossover between Peter Parker's universe and that of the Avengers will have everyone asking why Iron Man, Captain America, and the rest of the team didn't bother to help out when a massive reptile terrorized a New York high school. What are you talking about? The previous three films were TERRIBLE! They were horribly written, horribly acted, and inaccurate to the comics. Name one thing those god awful films did right. Martin Sheen and Cliff Robertson have the same acting calliber. If you've seen the late Cliff Robertson's performaces he is actually one of the greatest actors to grace the silver screen. I read Uncle Ben's lines in the comics, I? hear his voice which fits the beautiful artwork perfectly. I've seen Sheen act in other movies, he's quite an actor. I just don't believe the simple fact that he's in the new one to be game over for this series. Cliff is an acting legend, as is Sheen.

So finally, I don't say it is intolerable that "The Amazing Spider-Man" takes the liberty of diverting from the original stories, but I say it is not praiseworthy stating that the new movie is going to be more faithful than those by Raimi - which are not, absolutely accurate to the original stories, but at least the global "spirit" of what Stan Lee created (and the look of the costume is a good example? for this), concerning the relationships between the characters and the evolution of Peter.

With all due respect, I happened to love Raimi's trilogy, but only for the fact it was Spider-Man. Now that I look back at the movies, I realized, in story terms,? the movies made no sense whatsoever. However, this makes a ton of sense. Peter's parents played a key role in the Spidey mythos (directed to the individual who said the parents being in the movie made no sense), he actually fell for Gwen awhile before MJ ever showed her face, and yeah, the suit isn't as cool as Raimi's but it's cool.

In fairness, I believe this incarnation is meant to deviate from the comics to a significant degree as well. While there won't be anything as ridiculous as organic webshooters, the series is going to examine the importance of Richard and Mary Parker on a level quite unlike the classic comic books. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing; I'm actually looking forward to seeing where Webb takes the Spider-Man mythos, and? like Raimi's interpretation, I'm sure that it will be fantastic. :)

Original my face! Spider-Man was never a skateboarding? hipster. The only authentic thing about this film is the web shooters and Gwen Stacy. The first film was much more authentic in fact most of the scenes came straight out of the comic book like the Uncle Ben scene, Green Goblin's death. Rumor has it the screenplay was horrible because it included an invented villain called the? vulturess (Felicia Hardy mixed with the Vulture: god awful idea). And Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3 was lame. it may be so, but I've watched every single? episode of this show so far and it is the best Spider-man cartoon to date. It does it's characters great has some foreshadowing moments that build expectations and lives up them. It is also very good laid out show and follows the comics a few times (haven't read all of them, but i know some of them) and when it does it does it great. even though the character may not be that smart you should watch the show.

Nothing wrong with having comedic stuff. However the things in the show are a bit too goofy. How he talks to the audience, the little cutesey pop-in characters, the "cut-away" scenes. Total overkill on the "funny Spidey" schtick. And the jokes seem a bit forced. I might have forgiven them if the material were actually FUNNY. If they're gonna go for a comedy,? get some good comedy writers.

This show has some food things going for it: good animation, comedy, pacing. But I think this also signifies an attempt to make up for where the show really fails. Namely, they're trying to make spidey something he's not. He's not an agent of? shield. He doesn't need to be like ironman, cap, or anyone else. I just read the wiki on why they didn't do the? movie. It said that the guy didn't think he could meet the deadline that the studio gave him like you said but they also said that Sam Raimi wasn't satisfied with how the movie was progressing. They were going to do three more movies. Spider-Man 4 was Scheduled to be released May 6th of 2011 but Sam purportedly went through four iterations of the script with different screenwriters and still "hated it"

I loved The Spectacular Spider-Man, and it was disappointing that it was canceled. Ultimate Spider-Man had potential, but? they definitely strayed from the original Earth-1610 spider-man plot line to cater to a younger audience. A shame really.

The? shows a lot better then I thought it was going to be!:O Its not the 90's cartoon show or Spetacular Spider Man but anything worked on by Bruce Tim and Paul Dini is worth a look. Batman TAS series anyone????

They could have made this show a lot better. 4th wall works with Deadpool, but they made it way to Dora the explorer in this show. It's a little too childish when it has a? lot of potential, using the Ultimate Spiderman story and all. Oh well, one day Marvel will learn not all it's viewers are 7

I agree about the symbiote part, but still in this series he has been spider-man for over a year and now they are trying to create a ultimate spider-man that can join the Avengers in the future! As already he has already made some connections to the avengers with Iron Man. And probly trying to build it up for the Civil War perhaps ? Your comeback arent solid? at all, you just saying that peter should be dead, BUT! The damn serie hasnt even reached at a point where he has met any of the avengers!
