Sorry...didn't mean to upset nor offend. Everybody has thier favorite, and I respect that McGeogh is yours(?). He definitely is one of post-punk's finest. For me, Johnny Marr is my favorite guitarist. However, what I was trying to say is? that in the grand scheme of music history, Hendrix and Page are far more influencial than either Marr or McGeogh. I appreciate your devotion and passion for REAL music played by REAL musicians. Cheers mate!

Siguiendo con super guitarristas a? mi un Steve Vai y esta gente no me dice absolutamente nada, que no es mas que mucho overdrive y tapar cuerdas para que no suene a rayos. Yngwie Malmsteen por ejemplo ha perdido muchisima técnica y ha entrado en un bucle sin retorno de velocidad tonta. That was a scene from the movie 'Un chien andalou' by Luis Banuel from 1928. Film was relatively new in the beginning of the twentieth century and artists loved experimenting with it. They also loved schocking their audiences and breaking with traditions. I believe this scene? was filmed with an eye from a cow, but I'm not shure.

Ironically, Hitchcock himself had very little to do with the actual shooting of the Spellbound dream sequence. The gifted visualist and sometimes director, William Cameron Menzies, was hired on after numerous setbacks to help interpret Dali's concepts into feasible sets, and direct the sequence as well. Several years later, Menzies would return to the subconscious, only this time with Martians (Invaders from Mars, 1953). The? results were equally impressive, proving his Dali foray was no fluke.

I always loaded this game from tape just for the music, I never mastered the annoying micro-managing of keeping the sleeping people alive. The wand of command atleast made it possible to make them sleep and be still. The glowing bottle was the health drink, if you gave and then took it from the first elf you saw it kept you alive, and the teleport? pad was useful, as I left it where the first elf guy was so as to teleport there when health dropped. Wow. You guys do realize that K&D did not remix this? They just used the track on their mix CD. This is the? only version of this track, no remixes by K&D or anything. The K&D mix is great and probably popularized this track but I repeat they did not remix this track, they used the original, so lets just stop spreading misinformation.

Anyway, Slipknot are in not in any way brutal. Even Dimmu in its? current state isn't very brutal, but they (Dimmu) had their moments early on in their career. Just comparing this to Slipknot though is like comparing Nirvana to the Pussycat Dolls.

Well, I don't know if Dimmu has stuck to "true black metal", but as far as I know they never made any sort of stance of "sticking" to anything (other than metal). Even now they're definitely more "brutal" than Slipknot, but they're definitely not? old-school black metal in any sense of the word.
