So Tim is singing about the Crimson Tide and Bear Bryant and Scarlett? O Hara. It's kind of funny how many people there are who pride themselves of having amazing music tastes because they love all the classics. They blatantly remind the world how music today sucks and they wish they lived in? the 60s and 70s. But when a band such as The Sheepdogs come around and create music that resembles that time period, instead of rejoicing in amazing music they criticize the music and categorize it as a rip off. Oh well, I'm proud to say I love music from the past and from my own era

Obviously, it's been too long? since I handled a tiller. The sail that I was taught to call a "reach," flew from the forestay and carried a lower aspect ratio than the jib or genoa, so that the sail "reached" back for about half the length of the boom. My Cultural Diversity teacher from last quarter is from Baton Rouge, LA. I know what they sound like down there because I've been to New Orleans years ago. I grew up in Seattle where we don't think we have accents. Anyway, one day my teacher called (I go to school online) and I knew to expect a slow type of drawl but it still? took me by surprise of how very noticeable yet very beautiful the southern accent is.

the weapons of the southern cross were less advanced. In the Robotech frame of things, they were the first generation of fully human built robotechnology. The Veritechs and such were made by a Robotech factory inside the SDF-1, and later inside the captured Robotech Factory. Both of these are no longer available (SDF-1 is destroyed, robotech factory - ?? Maybe with the Expeditionary Force??) So It fits in with Carl Macek's scheme of things well that you can see? hinges and rougher 'tech

SDF-1 should of been continued as of character storyline (Not Robotech: The Sentinels- Same animation Style as SDF 1 Story Line just expanded further) And then this should co-exist as a Side story of the series, since Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes are in Space trying to FInd the Masters Home planet, and this is 15 years after the SDF 1 was destroyed

Thanks for posting! Simply my favorite CSN song. This is nice so I can try to? sing along while playing guitar...something that comes easily to some, but not me! I had the pleasure seeing these guys at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley in the late 80's and they were great! They had a lot of good songs but this one always stuck with me.

Shoot, come to one of my family reunions in rural Mississippi, and you'll see what I mean. Stuff like "I got sh*t in one haynd 'n' want in th'other. Make yer choice." Which roughly translates to "You're SOL." I'm proud to be Southern. It's fun :)

I could hear some Southern twang in your normal speech. I'm from TN, lived a while in Montgomery though. It's definitely there, but you're good proof against the stereotype. I don't speak with much of an accent? either. We don't all sound like Forrest Gump, the accent changes depending on which State you're from and whether you lived more in rural or urban areas, and our accent doesn't mean that we're dumb, racist, incestuous, etc., take your pick of derogatory names: hick/hillbilly/redneck.
