Yes on the first question. No, each circuit is done on an individual day during the week. See the first part of the video and check the description to the right. So, for each week, you will have completed all of the circuits (in the description you will also see additional exercises that you can substitute into the circuits) Weekly Protocol Day 1: Circuit 1 Day 2: Circuit 2 Day 3: Circuit 3 Day 4: REST Day 5: Circuit 4 Day 6: Circuit 5 Day 7: REST?

Each exercise in the circuit is? completed for 12-15 reps and each circuit is done 1-3 times (runs)? Okay, so for circuit 1, do I only do those exercises in circuit one for the first three weeks, then do circuit two for week 3-6 and so on? I'm confused, please explain. Do I do this once a week or what?
By: bkdmd. on 27 Mar 09, 17:17:24
How long does this program take to start alleviating pain? If you bench two days a? week, should two of the circuits be done on bench days for warming up?

I am a bencher. It is what keeps me going to the gym. What is that pain right in that depression where the later delt, ant delt, and? calvicle meet? it especially hurts on that side to reach back and touch the back of my upper cervical vertebra. If you were guessing what would that be and will this program help alleviate that pain and let me get back to concentrating on benching?

I was sitting here rehearsing these moves- just moving my hands in the air. While practicing the Cuban Rot. I heard and? felt the loudest tendon pop I have ever experienced with instant disappearance of pain in my injured shoulder. Insane! I am convinced that this program will get me as close to normal as possible. Restoring proper alignment to my shoulder girdle and getting my scaps to move back is the best I can hope for, and I've competed/lived in constant pain for over a decade. -S Garrison

By: smittydiesel. on 11 Mar 09, 14:51:48
Yes, start light and progress from there.? Focus of form and quality of movement. Try following the routine and adjust volume and rotate out exercises that still cause an issue.

Without a doubt, follow exactly what your? doctor says.
By: davejhavu. on 05 Feb 09, 21:14:23
Been doing your shoulder routine religiously for three weeks, though despite. I think the scapular positioning and scapular control I've gotten have gotten rid of the inflam. Of course, I'm not doing anything that? your typical lifter would want to do either. Nothing over head.
By: davejhavu. on 05 Feb 09, 21:11:00
I'm 47, the doc gave me an MRI and found a thin spot in the right Supraspinatus. All pain has disappeared since I quit doing anything with arms over 45 degrees. I compensate by doing heavy deadlifts and shrugs, which seem to hit the? delts and everything isometrically.
By: davejhavu. on 05 Feb 09, 21:08:03
My doc here in Japan says? not to do ANY activity that has my arms above 45 degrees. This includes hanging and shoulder rotation exercises such as pullovers. Also includes pushups unless elbows are tucked in. So many of your shoulder exercise like cuban rotatations, anything hanging or anything in the pushup position would be out. Also, he would have me doign a max of only one lb. for rotational RC exercises. Is this old thinking? Overly cautious thinking? Correct thinking? Thanks.

By: smittydiesel. on 15 Dec 08, 13:38:32
I would suggest you talk to your doctor before engaging in this (or any)? rehab protocol.
By: pyrotalk. on 15 Dec 08, 03:32:40
Continued Few days ago, it hurted to lift my arm sideways. So decided to give your protocol a try, put some BioFreeze and after completing the workout, i couldnt breath (anxiety) due to fumes and the burning sensation. Wont try that again. I? havent notice outstanding results, more soreness but bearable. Hope it works
By: pyrotalk. on 15 Dec 08, 03:32:18
Do you think i should keep doing them even if it hurts moderately? using bands & ramp gradually to 5lbs weights now. MRI left shoulder: small tear or tendinosis at the humeral attachment of the supraspinatus tendon. Tendinosis in the infraspinatus tendon. MRI right shoulder: Slap tear with tendinosis. I need at least on good arm to make it thru surgery so i figure lets fix the left? shoulder since it can be doable.
By: sidhyarth. on 14 Dec 08, 01:35:40
it isnt the elevated pushup where you do a retraction as demonstrated hes? talking about the push up plus where you protract at the start of the movement before going down
By: pyrotalk. on 13 Dec 08, 04:59:01
thanks dude. It doesnt look like your protracting in? the elevated push up. but i got it now
By: smittydiesel. on 13 Dec 08, 04:17:29
For the prone y&t precede the movement with? a retraction. The push-up plus is a protraction.
