Bergmeister bumped Magnusson about every time he tried a move into or out of turn one and it looks to me like he brake checks him quite a bit throughout (benefit of the doubt? maybe his tyres were gone), looks to me that Bermeister was slightly wide out of the last turn allowing? Magnusson the opportunity. His mistake, he got repaid for his defensive bumping but to turn another drivers rear end like that is just cheap

Magnusson deserved it to be honest. Bumping is a part of racing but it's not a technique; you don't bump someone to get past them particularly not to win an endurance race. He forced Bergmeister into retaliating, and after? cutting the track to get past and bumping several times through the race, he can't cry foul. Had Magnusson not bumped him on the way onto the back straight, then it would have been unfair of him to take Magnusson out, but the way it happened Magnusson was being irresponsible.

Really??? The 2011 Red Bull sets many new Qualify records in F1, especially on tight tracks with short straights and many slow and fast corners like Melbourne or? Monaco. Laguna Seca is a track like this. In Melbourne the RB 2011 was at least 6 sec faster than this Toyota, by using KERS and DRS. Furthermore I think, that this Zonta lap in Laguna Seca was not the limit. Champ Cars are much slower in corners than F1. Even this bad Toyota. Look at the time difference in Montreal...

I know that is why I said but I do know GT5 took almost 7 years to make (GT4 is basically a PS2 demo of GT5) and I did say next gen is predicted to be released 2013-2015 (most likely 2014) and Kaz said GT5 isn't meant for the? PS3 because the PS3 doesn't have enough processing and graphics power to run it properly. That is why shadows and water spray from the tyres in the rain looks blocky.

yeah but look at the gaps in the years of release. GT1 1997 GT2 1999 2 yr dif, GT3 2001 GT4 2004 3 yr PS1 years where 1994-1999 until? PS2 came out in 2000-2006 then PS3, with the console life cycles like you said next gen is coming around 2012-2013. So since GT5 took 5.5 years* (yes I calculated it look on 3KB review of GT5 for that) GT6 might just be on the new Gen consoles. Plus Kaz said the GT5 wasn't really meant for the PS3 for some reason

Funny i just said to myself here is the damn PS2 resolution again... how ugly it is i don't want to look at it anymooo.... AND Mark points out that it is running at 1080... I still find it the default ugly PS2 resolution, how exactly? is this HD?... I don't know what engines these sports cars have, but I think they sound a lot better than F1 engines. I think FIA GT1 used V12 engines a few? years ago. Well i dont mind that. What i do mind is regulations on driving style and the drivers. and making? the engines smaller and smalller in 2014 f1 is set to start using turbochardged1.6 litre v6 engines. I understand that it is moving with the times and showing that they can squeeze power out of smaller engines but if they put all the extreme engineering and time into insane 3.5 litre v12 the engines could have 1200 hp or more. in a car that weighs less than a ton it would make for incredible racing

It's sad isn't it? It does look like a something from Speed Racer. Now I hate it even more. Did you see how well the stupid bumper kept Marco from flying off of Rahal? And that was in the braking zone on? a street course. The only thing they've effectively done is screw up the balance of the car by adding weight at farthest aft arm of the weight and balance equation and make the cars look stupid. The cars will be diabolical next week at Indy.

I don't find manual shifting to be harder, I think it gives you much more control over the car. oh & the reason the lambo sounds so bad is bcuz he added a custom transmission, it actually sounds great before you do that. GT5> iracing btw netkar pro > gt5. iracing is overated, people confuse difficulty with realism, iracing doesn't connect you to the road as well as other games. gt5 is too forgiving but still more natural than? iracing

@InecomCompany Great? review, BUT: iRacing.com isn't a racing game, it's a racing simulation!! It features laser-scanned race tracks and cars which makes it the most realistic experience out there, leaving rfactor (pc racing sim), lfs (pc racing sim), gt5 (ps3 --> designed for gamepad --> arcade game) behind (at least for me).

Laguna Seca, still my favourite track in Sega's FERRARI F355 CHALLENGE on the Dreamcast & PS2, which still looks pretty darned good? for a 12-year-old arcade game, though iRacing's version of Laguna Seca is obviously a huge graphical upgrade. I wish they'd come out with a physical media version of iRacing with the best cars and tracks included.

GT5 is pretty damn fun. iRacing is sort of a different experience though. Hard to explain without making it sound dull, but it sort of? is designed to be 'fun' in the traditional sense of the word, whereas GT5 is. When I want to kill some time and have some fun racing (offline) I'll fire up GT5 or Shift 2. When I want to race online, competitively, nothing beats iRacing. Lol, I just re-read that last sentence and it sounds like a tagline for some shitty beer...

I think what he might have been saying is that this track doesn't really have a purpose in the motogp series, maybe as they are the only class who go there and plus the track is quite short and 32 laps is alot of laps. All the other classes get an extra? weekend off. Great track though and amazing to watch on motogp bikes!

I was there in 1968 and got sunstroke... kept me in-doors for a month afterwards. I was 13 years old and it was awesome, but no? water fountains anywhere. The cars were so cool, and loud!!! Jim Hall's Chaparral raced but I didn't know who he was back then, but he had the coolest car with the rear spoiler over the back of the whole car, totally radical design back in the day. Thank you for the footage with this machine.

This is absolutely fantastic. I just can't get enough of that sound! It's just such a pity that? all racing formulae are down sizing and adding forced induction to cars all in the name of emissions. I'm just so distraught that the best racing formula of all time happened 25 years before I was born and about 6000 miles from where I live. I've seen lots of great race cars in my time but this is the one craving that I want to satisfy. The purest racers on earth driven by true greats.

Concordo, Lorenzo è bravissimo ma si è trovato una moto che Vale ha reso grandissima. Sono rari i piloti che come Rossi riescono a fare un lavoro di collaudo e miglioramento come quello fatto su Honda e Yamaha. Ora con la Ducati si ritroverà con una moto già vincente in partenza, con margini di miglioramento? tecnico grazie alla profonda esperienza di Rossi e con margini di tempi e prestazioni grazie al manico di Rossi. Insomma il prossimo mondiale temo che sarà davvero umiliante per gli altri.
