Gary player's swing worked because his force of motion continued in the direction of the target through impact and he did not purposefully stay in balance however to get to that point pre impact he had to be in a point of? balance during the swing in order to control the clubface delivery. Another point anyway would be that in the process of learning all the aspects of golf it is the accumulation of skills that makes a golfer great and not the indiviudal aspect of the swing itself.

clubface control is all well and good but good clubface control with poor balance will surely lead to loss of power in the golf swing and inefficiency in the kinetic sequence if the point of balance is lost. a golf swing with solid balance will allow the golfer to remain in control of the the body rotation to which the clubface works around and? assist in better clubface delivery with a powerful impact position to create ball speed and compression. balance is essential to the swing

It is all about having proper pivot in ones golf swing. I see this all the? time where golfer will tend to sway there hips during there back swing. I saw this pivot training aid Pivot Pro which is specifically designed to fix this problem.

Many highly esteemed pga professionals use this DRILL, including the irreverant hank haney. The drill is not meant to be applied in any other way. To suggest that this drill alone contributed to barkleys swing? troubles from someone who possesses no teaching credibility (or credibility of any kind, for that matter) is not, of course, just unfounded, nonsensical blather, but absolutely ridiculous. He? did not chunk, you did. Watch the ball location at 1:02 and the whole 5" divot at 1:05. That divot was 5" long after the ball. I always wonder why golfers would gave thumb up to high handicapper amateur who criticized pro and pros' coach?

tiger woods is absolutely kidding himself If he truely thinks hes "almost there", when he won at bay hill he was "close", he shows up at the masters and literally looks like a different player in terms of his golf swing, he was leaning over more, his action was completely different, just a? weak glancing blow, all his angles were different, missing left and right, hands coming off the clubs, If I hear tiger say "hes close" again while hitting the ball 50 yrds offline again Im gonna scream! lol

Time for me to rant unbeknown to everyone else. Tiger woods had Two basic swings that will always be his best. Tiger 2000 and tiger 2006. Now If anyone knows golf they understand that in those years respectively he has peaked his certain swing. 2000 of course his tiger slam preferred by many only because of the results. This is a nice simple way to understand the most important tip for almost every amateur golfer. So many release too early and hit behind the ball so drilling in the feeling of ball than turf contact will improve 90 percent of golfers. Try it and believe. All this guy needs is a decent high profile player to coach and? people will start to recognise he is a decent instructor.

you have no idea what your talking about neither is s&t clement tilts away from the target and it stays that way. foley tilts away when he shifts weight on the downswing. clement swings to the target, foley swings down and around to the left. neither arch there back on the downswing. know your stuff before you start talking i know the facts. and you cant argue the facts rose, mahan and woods have won this year on the tour. foley is the best new swing coach out there now. that is? all

wow...? there is no tilt in clement's swing or his teachings (lean towards the target), thus it isnt stack and tilt. there is noticeable tilt in foley's swing and his teachings. face the facts, clement isnt stack and tilt. your choosing to infer it that way doesnt make it so. i have wasted as much time as im going to on this matter? with you, either you understand or you dont, best of luck.

Smart enough to not call it that? I've never understood what people have against the name "Stack & Tilt?" Does that somehow take away from how well it works? The swing works if you know the pieces and how to apply them. I feel bad for people who would rather keep hitting bad shots than use a swing simply because it was given a? name for a Golf Digest article.

You should to get a better mic, or stop editing your voice.? If both of these options seem a little unnecessary to you what you can do is record your voice over multiple times until A: you get one that is perfect and doesn't change pitch randomly or B: take the best one you have and cut out the pieces that don't sound correct and replace them with the better sounding version. Improving your audio will make a worlds difference my friend- Good luck

ok, i'm sorry, i? have to comment. That video on the right was taken by Carl Welty at La Costa on hole 9 of the Tournament setup in 2000 (tough year). Pretty much every single thing this Allen fellow is pointing out about Tiger are positives. Being behind the ball with that spine angle at 2:26 gives Tiger effortless coil and power, Tiger is more connected through the ball while Foley's upper body is connected on the takeaway, but becomes disjointed at impact. PS - Foley is coaching, not playing.

I have found that golf is very similar to the game of LIVING. Talk is cheap, it is the experience of doing that matters. No professional figured it out on a keyboard. In the end , the secret of the dirt is that after you follow enough "guru tips" you realize most all the pros are trying to do the same thing? it just "looks" different because they are different people. I can read a book on how to write a book, but until I actually start I won't go through the trail and error to make it good.

I think this? is what my problem may very well be in my golf swing. I feel my hips dont clear in time and i become flippy through impact which in turn make me feel very inconsistant and frustrated. Take a look at my golf swing guys and tell me if you agree. thanks.

This is sort of funny because Foley is trying to get Hunter to straighten his right arm earlier which then made his ball fly higher. Then he's got to fix that by over doing the upper body "covering" the ball. Hunter has the best external rotation of the left leg? of any of Foley's guys. The rest look like Tiger and Justin who get stuck in IR then stall. I don't think Foley even understands why Hunter is the best ball striker of all his students.

Hi Kel, do you think, that Foley teaches him to get the sternum more over the ball? Is the reason for that, that Mahan wants to have a lower ball flight, or what is your opinion. I think, that this is the reason, why Tiger and the other Foley students have a difference in the rotaion of? teir left leg. You prefer more an external rotation and they do more an internal rotation due to the different approach of Foley.
