Just like I know Tarantino's character Jimmy in Pulp Fiction was not Mr. Brown cause Mr. Brown died in Reservoir Dogs. I'm not an idiot. Can't remember if Steve truly was a waiter in Pulp Fiction, but? even assuming he was, that does not mean it was Mr. Pink. Just as the guy planning to rob the restaurant in the opening scene is not Mr. Orange (played by Tim Roth). So Tarantino likes having the same cast around him when filming, that does not however mean that they're the same characters. Pink definitely did not get away. At the end of Reservoir Dogs you clearly hear the cops shooting and shouting at Pink, implying he gets caught.

If you actually eat out often, a high class waiter/waitress has much better manners than say someone working at Denny's. They don't check up on you much at Denny's but if you go to an expensive steak house, they will check up on you constantly and filling your drinks. Those at the steak houses are worthy of extreme tips while Denny's will get zilch or maybe? a dollar. Not to say that all Denny's are bad, but most are borderline shit in terms of service. I don't like the obligation either, but they are performing you a service. If you don't want to tip, eat at home. The tip? is there to so that you don't get your food spit in if you plan to come back. Also, they're sometimes doing shifts back to back. I doubt diner waitresses get health insurance included either so there's yet another expense. They remember bad tippers and great tippers. Which do you want to be?
