Those in the comments who argue this is not a "Requiem" are confusing a "Requiem", which means a remembrance and honoring? of the dead, with a "Requiem MASS", which involves the traditional missal liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church, with a Dies Irae, a Lachrymosa, and all that. This is certainly not a Requiem Rass, but is just as certainly a remembrance, or Requiem.

This was also the reason that Ian Curtis of Joy Division started hearing voices, becoming depressed, etc. Because the epilepsy pills of the time had? terrible side effects not all of them known even in the beginning of the 80s. From everthing that i've read all the priest said it wasn't a case of possession, just split personality/schizophrenia, which seems highly possible. Just give up already. Isn't it a weird coincidence how all of her symptoms are concordant to those of split personality disorder? A neurological trauma caused by, for instance, abuse in the early childhood and the? personalities are often related to that abuse? (Commonly split personality disorder might be son/dad if the son was abused.) If it wasn't horrible enough that people believe in invisible friends in their adult years, people destroy other peoples' lives based on those friends.

There's something about this tune that cannot be properly appreciated unless you have the proper amplification, I'm talking about the bass beat. I was lucky enough to listen to LP live 2 years ago.. As usual on the ATS tour, they opened with? this, and the sound of the bass making the ground move an going through the people's bodies, amplified on the stage in middle of the hypodrome where they played, was like the beat of a huge mechanical heart. Something really hard to explain and to forget :)
