i would assume it would be bad for drifting because the whole purpose of the crowne differential is to distribute torque evenly between the front and back axles to increase stability. dont get this car if? you want to drift! haha

In some situations, it's what the world needs. The extra weight of a few highly-engineered differentials is nothing in comparison to seamless traction. Yes, I agree with you, this keeps repair costs very high, but sometimes over engineering is what's needed. Take the GT-R for example; not a Euro car, but it's all tech and engineering and look at how? IT performs.

How is this superior when the weight and repair cost far out weigh the task of getting from one place to another? This is just an example of German over engineering. Sure it's unbelievably clever, it is also unbelievably unnecessary. Just goes to show that the American market will buy anything that keeps stupid drivers on the road while sacrificing fuel economy and repair costs. When will Euro fags realize that over engineering does? not equal overall efficiency?
