Seems that if you use these products after? washing and conditioning your hair it will seal in the moisture. Then you wash it out every few days and start again. Olive and coconut oil, etc is too light for my hair. I need something that is "heavier" to weigh down my hair. Seriously heavy. I have THICK COURSE hair. Coconut oil also makes my hair dry and brittle so I would put Vaseline in my hair over coconut oil any day of the week! I'm going back to what worked when I was a kid.

i actually decided to used petroleum jelly? again for the first time in years, it did lock the moisture in and actually stretched my hair a little, but i could not moisturize my hair again once it was in my hair :( ..after a couple of days i decided to wash it out and it took at least three washes! since i like to moisturize my hair everyday with water i guess i am gonna have to put the petroleum jelly and continue using my oils....thanks for the video :)

Hey anique. I just throw the two ingredients in the spray bottle LOL . If I had to guess, I would say about 4 ounces of the aloe vera gel and 4 tablespoons of castor oil. Shake it well. Then kind of tweak it for your hair (b/c the finer the hair,? the less castor oil you want to put). HTH.

Yes? that's true! But it seems that petroleum based products would be the perfect solution to make sure moisture stays locked in. But ofc ourse there's the factor of not being able to add any more on top of it. Natural prods seem to be less worry, but cost a lot more!

That used to happen to me too. My daughter just recently flat ironed mine successfully. She added grape seed oil to each section of hair b4 flat ironing it. Also, play around with the? temperatures of your iron until you find the safest most effective setting for your hair. But I think the oil REALLY played a role in the straightening. HTH

That was interesting to see, like others I agree if you make sure your hair is well moisturized before? you add a petroletum product your hair will be fine. It's probably best for everyone to do these test on their own hair because everyone's hair has different levels of porosity and will probably get different results depending on how much moisture was added before hand.

pretty much you summed up what I found when doing this. The petroleum products will block the moisture in. So it would be best to put those products on top of well moisturized hair like you do. Long term styling (like 2? weeks) not so good for petroleum products. The shea butter mixture is a good sealant for the moisture (minus the drying/blocking properties) I think. Sounds like a good regimen. What shampoo do you wash your hair with?

my tip i honestly found that immediatly after washing and deep conditioning process instead of drying hair i would blot it with a t-shirt (to avoid frizz) leave? my hair signifcantly wet. then use my leave-in for moisture then coat the hair with my own shea butter mix or even petroleum and honestly my hair will stay moisturized for a week. so basically those products will hold the water in. then i wash at the end of the week and do it again. so if u understand the product it can work.

I use the whole leaf aloe vera gel from gnc. I put mine in a spray bottle and add like 3 tablespoons of castor oil (add to your liking--based on your hair thickness/finer hair will? use less castor). I love this mix for definition for my braid outs. It's excellent moisture as well. It's not going to make it as soft as the petroleum will hahaha! But the trade off is worth it (no battling with dry hair over the next 7-10 days).

It appears to me he's headed into the fuel depot to fill up. If so, then he was traveling 'light' and could have stopped shorter than if he'd been loaded. No matter ~ he was still speeding? and failing to maintain proper interval. BUT ~ you mid led me. There is no "road rage" involved in this video, only unsafe driving habits. The Driver has a CDL which allows him to drive for a living. If you want to be a real AH, swear out a ticket against him with this video as evidence & take his CDL.

If this was a 55 zone (and yes I did see the signs), where are all the vehicles obeying the rules? Both he and you should have passed dozens of cars travelling legally in that film. Is there? something you aren't telling us here? And I gotta say, your standard of driving, i.e.whilst filming, isn't exactly safe either.

I talked to his boss and let him know I had the video of his driver. He was at the grocery store when I called and was very uninterested to? see the video. Lame to think he would even discipline his driver without viewing it. Said he would call back the next day and never did. 2 weeks later I posted it so he could view it here. Which he has!. Lots of truckers have dah cams and I would suggest the same for you. Good for insur purposes if something ever happens.

I didn't mention I drive a 37 ft Class A (bus style motor coach) and running these speeds are hairy at the very least. I always try to stay in the middle lane, that? way people coming on to the road from the right have a lane and faster traffic can zip past me on the left. Many times tractor/trailers buzzed by me on both sides at once, the void of air around the bus is like a vacuum and you get very turbulent. Bus style RVs are quite boxy & not ideal for high speeds. Big Rigs are better in draft.

I'm gonna start doing the same thing to "4 Wheelers" driving like idiots when I'm on the road trying to make my living. I definitely don't condone unsafe driving by anyone...especially truckers.Especially ones? hauling hazardous materials but, did you really have to post it on youtube? We get enough crap from the general "motoring" public and the government! Next time, send it to the company headquarters!!

Besides your own unsafe use of a camera while driving feet away from this truck and other traffic on this busy road, you seem to leave out many positive points concerning the trucker. You never mentioned he uses his directionals when changing lanes, nor do you mention that IF he left a greater distance between him and the car in front, other cars would zip in front? of him making the gap even closer and more unsafe. Knowing there are no STOPS ahead allows for closer driving.

Over the years I've witnessed the demise of professional drivers that actually worked for the major oil companies to the hiring of independent carrier drivers that work cheaper at the cost of safety. I'm not saying all independent drivers are like the guy in this video but they are far less governed than us that still hold on to? our jobs with a major oil company.

Flip at around the 1.23 mark it states the trucks are "governed" to 73 MP/H that's 117.48 KP/H The Trucks here in Australia are Limited to 100kp/h but it aint uncommon for some operaters to illegaly remove or disable the limiter there was a crack down on it a few months back after a fatal accident on the Hume? Highway where 3 people were sadly killed Some trucks were clocked at 145+ KP/H in a 110kp/h zone, It's good this driver got caught as one wrong move and it could have ended in disaster

hey man trust me there are a ton more people that drive worst than this and they are "experienced" truckers. ive almost had a head on collision with one going around 55 on a country road around 11pm in dense fog they attempted to pass someone as i was? coming i coult clearly see the small cars headlight then saw bigs ones facing me in my lane i swerved to avoid the accident and ended up in a ditch luckily my truck could handle the manuver without any damage. wish there were more cameras out there

If that were true, declining reserves would be, well, not declining. Many oil deposits in the earth have been completely exhausted (and? by completely exhausted I mean not economically or technologically able to be gathered) and if the Earth were creating oil on a semi-regular basis, then either old reserves would show some sign of increase, or new deposits would be found "springing up" all the time. I believe the geological formations that oil and natural gas are found

Just asking the question of common sense-? is it possible we have it wrong and the planet is producing oil on a semi-consisted basis and is not related the the limited amount of old, dead, decaying plants and animals? "Using one of these derricks over here"? That's a pumping unit or? "pump-jack" dude. O_o "Water rig"? = off shore drilling rig. Steam to extract hydrocarbons is not common at all. It's only used in certain areas with 'heavy oil'. Hypothetically if you did have to use steam, surface temperatures have nothing to do with bottom-hole temperatures so it doesn't? matter if you're in Alaska ("and stuff like that") or 110* Texas heat.. Gas formations can reach temperatures up to 300+ *F.
