My first set of clips I loathed, T-junction on a hill crest...splat! much to the amusement of everyone around. Over time I got used to them, but it becomes easier over time as you gain the feeling of clipping in and out. Accidents still happen though, and you get caught out in an emergency stop or when something goes wrong, but in normal use? you find you think ahead and unclip before a junction or something. A lot depends on the feel of the different types of pedals though.

They are not clip pedals,? clip pedals are pedals with straps and clips which were used up until the 1990's. These are clipless pedals, yes they have a clipping facility with cleat inserts, but they were designed to provide the same benefits without the straps. To call these clip pedals would be incorrect, despite the literal definition maybe saying otherwise.

That actually is completely dependent on both the keyboard itself as well as the keys you want to press.? Gaming keyboard won't care how many keys you press at once, while others will. And the ones that do only prevent certain key combos because they work on a grid-based circuit, and if certain combos are used the closed circuits indicate ambiguous information (for example, MNJ and MNK would close the same grid-line circuits, so those can't be used).

This is perfect for my save-states in emulators when both my hands need to be on 2 keys at the same time ("run" and "left arrow" for instance) and I can't reach over to hit "+" which is the save-state key. But what I've noticed is that if I ask a buddy to press "+" WHILE I keep both keys down, it doesn't respond...maybe it has something to do with the interface, operating system, or simply the emulator itself does not allow more than 2 keystrokes simultaneously. I will? try this :D

the problem is that a computer does not allow more than 2 keys to be pressed at the same time. If you try? and press a third key it simply does not respond to it. At least that's what I've noticed over the years

Although pulling up on each? stroke it is still beneficial to strengthen your muscle on the rear side of your leg. My reasoning is that the muscles that you primarily use during a race will eventually be extremely fatigued. In turn you can use the pulling technique to generate the power that your primary muscles cannot now produce. At the same time, those muscles would help on sprints or breakaways where you need every ounce of power you need. I'm no expert, just my 'hypothesis'. LMK :)

The best way to deliver power must come with good technique I find that the best technique is to concentrate on making perfect circles when cycling. The secret is that the circles must be made with the knees not? the ankles or the calves. Concentrating on making circles using the knees is the most efficient pedal stroke technique.

The study referenced in the video may prove that for the elite athletes in question the upstroke was not worth it, but the conclusions could be very different for athletes extensively working on? their hamstrings. It does not invalidate the video, though, as most riders are not training their hamstrings to efficiently pull up the pedals anyway.

I feel your mis-understanding the video...its a case of? doing a 'full & complete pedal stroke maximising power when needed, of course you aint gonna pedal the full circle at all times IE out the saddle sprinting etc...but 'pedaling a circle' is something that requires a good postional set-up...

pulling up and pushing down is ok for sprints. I'm not sure why it tires the legs out over long periods but it does. My theories: lactic acid from the weak hip flexor travels to the strong quadriceps and makes them not work as well. Also the hip flexor is also a knee extender but I assume this muscle is relaxed on the down stroke (waste? of energy trying to lift and lower the leg at the same time!) where the 3 single joint quadriceps are used. I pull up very slightly on the upstroke

The absurd nonsense - notion of supposedly being able to simultaneously pull up on the 'back stroke' along with the power stroke is just that, absurd nonsense. The two are not compatible. You can do one, but not both, they work against each other. Don't believe it, try it, and witness your power crash and your cadence drop. Caveat on too small a frame which precipitates way too much saddle and seat height difference. Many today do it because its trending but? their efficiency again falls away.

give it another shot. ? find somewhere that you can sit on the bike without it moving so that you can get used to clipping in and out, like the video says at around 1:30ish. everyone falls at some point, but frankly, the benefits outweigh the costs. once you're comfortable clipping in and out, you'll be glad you took the time to practice.

Some? bikes, particularly older ones, have what are called toe clips. With toe clips you have to put your foot in and tighten down straps making them uncomfortable and less safe than clipless. When the new style of pedals came out they wanted to differentiate them from the toe clip type and therefore called them clipless.

I usually put gain stages in? order of gain unless I use a overdrive pedal as a boost pedal for solos. Smallest first largest last. Like on my board I have a way huge green rhino into a MI audio crunch box. Though I do not know your pedals and maybe the Mojomojo sounds best last. That's more of a personal preference. But with the modulation does it really change that much to put it before and do stereo at the end? Though Im not a big stereo guy so I don'tknow much about that

I would love to put the mod before the delay except the Strymon delay has one input and stereo outputs, the mod and reverb both have stereo ins and? outs and my whole board is wired in stereo. Does that change anything for you or is there a way to still do it? I use the Mojo for first stage of overdrive, Dark Matter for second. Both together for solos.

One question: I'm very experienced with clipless pedals, I've been using SPDSL for about 2 years now, but it always hurts my ankle to disengage outward, so I've always done it toward the inside. Ever-so-often, I graze my back tire with my heel, but it's never? caused me to fall, but it has worn the heel portion of the upper on the shoe some. Pretty cool but signature sound? Design a pedal from the ground up with custom filters, clipping characteristics etc. That's what I did and it really paid off.? I eliminated all ground noise from a super high gain cascade with a very unique filter I call a recovery filter and pinch harmonics are so insane, you can open your tone pot on your guitar and still get pinch harmonics. You are indeed one very well educated person! So get to it.

An Arduino is an complete board with wiring, interface etc. To compare the prizes between them u have to compare the chip of the arduino, e.g. in the arduino Uno it is a ATMega328P. The ATMega328P is about 6-9? bucks, and so are most PICs out there.

@GRIFFINSUNITE it`s not really the bikes that are expensive...the salaries are pretty low, like 200-400$ for most people. My father is a medic, and he gets like 500$? per month. So a 1000$ bike is pretty unusual around here.

@GRIFFINSUNITE just THINK. You need a tight chain, so no 2/3x7-8-9 cog combinations, and? if you only use one front sprocket and a cassete, you could use a chain tensioner device, like a chainguide. The gear you want your bike to be in is determined by yourself, there`s never a general rule about this sort of stuff, you just need a big enough speed ratio so you can advance forward but you need to have enough power to move it...so I`d recomend a ratio like 34T with 17-26T. I hope you understand..

I'm getting? these pedals very soon and am having a hard time deciding if I want the inversion kit or not...it looks nice to have the pedals realistically mounted and all, but I fear having them up higher might make the base flip backwards if I push hard enough on the pedals or something. I have been reading up on several complaints about fanatec's CSR pedals and the same issue that is crippling the standard pedals with the? potentiometer is showing itself on these with the load cells. I have been through two sets so far. I just want to enjoy my sim racing. I might have to get the adaptor for my old G25 pedals. They never gave me fits like this. Damn Chinese made products. I thought the German's stood for more in terms of quality than this!!!

Its a good thing its easy to jump online? and get in a private match to prove your smack talk. I bet if you msg'd him he would be more than happy to race you. Even though your smack talk is dumb, who cares if you might be better or he's better. There's always someone better.

I understand the CSR elite doesn't have the ABS feedback function like the ClubSport. Is that a big benefit or not. I'm looking to build 2 sim rigs for my daughter and I and want to get the? best set up. I've never sim raced and don't know if I'd prefer the inversion over standard setup. Any input from you Pros would be greatly appreciated.
