People have such low standards these days. I reckon anything from 1-2 is absolutely atrocious, 3-4 is bad, 5 is mediocre, 6 is quite alright, 7 is very good, 8 is awesome, 9 is incredible and 10 is just outstanding. Many people these days think of 1-5 as fucking terrible, 6-7 awful, 8 bad, 9 good and 10 the? only acceptable score.

Yes there is a lack of freedom, but it's still a great game and he said so. You completely failed to take into account that the people who criticize games for giving you a lack of freedom (like this reviewer) are different to other reviewers on IGN who don't. How can you not see such a blatantly obvious fact that not every reviewer has the? same critiquing style? I personally wouldn't mark down a game like Max Payne 3 for that, as I was never expecting a lot of freedom to begin with.

I'm an old school PC gamer that Max Payne is one pf the best serier ever made it came before Uncharted is onl;y better in physics and graphics that's it shit evn Max Payne 1 and 2 are better than Uncharted 3 better story and gameplay and it's 8 years ilds the point of? a game is that it has to be fun not to have good graphics but if we talk about physics and graphics PC games make Uncharted 3 look like a PS2 game not even a PS2 fucking Nes and I know this as a former PS3/360 gamer

Even Die Hard had some sort of physics in it. Its not fluid at all.? I mean, come on, a shotgun blast gets blocked my a thin, broken, chain link fence? If you want to see REAL gun physics, i would recommend sniper elite v2. Plus hit detection is FAR from perfect. This game is aesthetically pleasing, but FAR from top notch. IMO, they got lazy when it came to the bullets. The game is very fun, but can also be very annoying.

its not meant to be realistic, its meant to be cinematic, like playing through a hollywood action movie like Die Hard. & its very fluid, id say this game has the most impressive gun battle physics of any game ive played, the animations are top notch, the way he twists & turns his body to look natural whenever he's twisting to shoot in a new direction, & how every bullet is animated in real time with perfect hit detection Etc, & the way people react? when shot. which all looks awesome in slow mo

Ugh, whoever designed this "dynamic bullet" system, should be fired. Bullet time is fun, but the actual programming of the bullets themselves is shit. If? that is considered "realistic" i want some of whatever rockstar is smoking. I have no quarrel with anyone who plays this game, but to me, it is the worst one of played all year. It needs a LOT of work to be "fluid and realistic"

I'm sorry, but DIABLO 3 was a massive disappointment for most of? the fans of the series. It's just a money milking practice for blizzard. lol yeah well ya got me on that one not sure what the writer of that song meant by that but with most songs I think I think there all at least a little bit subjective. I guess you? can try and inturpit that as best you can or just do what I do when I cant figure out what the hell there sayin leave that part alone and focus on the music and the rest of the song. apetizer? lol max payne is on of the biggest titles that rockstar have ever made. gta is also but that dosent mean you can say? max payne is a "apetizer". it could probably be better than gta 5, and when it comes out you find loads of problems with it and your anoyed but your still like !OMG ITS THE BEST GAME EVER!" Just because you thought mp3 was a apetizer, and then you go back to play mp3. in my own personal opinion, i like saints row better than gta. i also like mp3 better.

My expectations for this game, coming from Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire, this game really needed to hit those expectations for me to enjoy this game, and? yes, they met my expectations. I remember criticizing this game for it's new changes? and unnecessary plot.. but now that I see this I realize how much it was needed to clear up certain gaps the last title left us with. Max is indeed back.
