Drove this car yesterday in Beverly Hills. My dad owns a Ferrari Challenge Stradale, and I have to say, the Mclaren is on a completely new level. Even compared to a 458 or 599GTO (both of which I have driven), the Mclaren felt like the first time I had ever driven a car. The experience was absolutely mindblowing, they really nailed it with this thing.? Well done, Mclaren, well done.

Ferrari is living on shit thats already? rotten. Lamborghini, Pagani, McLaren, and other car manufacturers are making cars to be as good as they can be and trust that their work gets great reviews as what they are. Ferrari could no longer do that because they know that other cars are technically better, which explains why they have a cold shoulder and very insecure of Porsche. This is why they have tuned press cars rather than just a car as is for reviews.

I completely agree with you, as for the Zonda (which I love enormously) I guess it's a proof of Pagani's masteful engineering. IMO Ferrari have lost their credibility, look at the times of their cars on the Fiorano track, they are too...artificial (all ending in 0's),? the newer cars are always a bit faster than the ones they replace to show they have evolved....yeah right. When people will look past the big name they'll realize the hype is not justified.

Personally, I? hate it when they call the MP4 as a "soulless" car, because its like saying its a ginger so it doesn't have one. A car is a car like gingers are people as well regardless of gender, color, etc... This is why all of the sudden I respect other car manufacturers aswell. I mean, how the hell can a Ferrari FXX which is engineered and driven be the best lose to a Pagani at the Ring and the TG track? McLaren and all the other companies don't do that. Ferrari does it because they know that they have to make the car as enticing as it can be. Which is why when the car is reviewed, they send a crew to have that quick set up for whatever track and test that the car would be in. If the crew can't handle the setup, they send another car, same model, that has the settings to be the best it could be. If you own a Ferrari, you will wonder why you lose to Porsches and Lambos in real life? on the road.

I would like to support that also with what Chris Harris did to Ferrari for us, the car geeks. Chris Harris revealed that the press cars for journalists are tuned to be better than the cars they intend to sell to the customers for the glorious review. Just like the asshole Enzo Ferrari, they would do dirty tactics to get it all. Other car manufacturers don't even try to have a press car, just a car from the factory, a little? bit of check, and thats your "press car"

It's been raining in England for the past 6 weeks, so this is a damp test. The GT-R Track Pack seems a bit half-hearted and, on-paper, the 997 Turbo S is the closest rival. I went to an evening track event at Brands hatch to discover the differences/ work out if the Track pack is worth the extra cash.

There is no new Turbo S out there. The? 991 Turbo will be released later in this year or so, and after a couple of years later, they will facelift it and probably add the "S" in to it, as they did with the previously 997 & 996. ... The new Turbo will for sure be really good.

Because they were probably under priced when they originally launched. They now have a very firm foot hold in the market, and the car is respected like crazy everywhere. You are aware that he favors the standard GTR over the standard 911 right? He does like his Porsches (which I hate) but I don't think he is too biased by that fact. He is right in this video I think. The price of the GTR Track Pack isn't motivated by it's upgrades. Neither is buying any porche if you want comparable performance on a track (or comparable? boot space). If you are looking for quality, go for Porsche.

You are correct , but the ultimate aero is built for that only .It sucks as a drag car , like Larry's chevy 2 sucks for top end "aero" There isn't any "Super Car" built that makes the power of these cars and have? to drive on the road legaly. The bugatti may handle better, but Mr. Larson's nova is much quicker in off the line and all the way thought the 1/4 mile. I don't normally agree with Motor Trench. I think they mooch cars from MFG's and then return the favor by writing glowing reports about the cars. Which I think is pretty cheesy. But I do like the WRX STI and I think it's a great car. But it's now $36,000.
