The point is I am one of their customers. I am a professional Nikon shooter who makes my living using their cameras. SOME of their customers certainly shoot video. MANY of their customers do not. A DSLR is not a video camera until you add loads of things to turn into a rig, by which time you may as well have bought a dedicated video camera. I do not? believe video was added to answer a market need, I believe it was added as a byproduct of the technology.

But this is a video, and if people are complaining about the video quality, then it's because they want to see the very best this camera can do, for video. Timelapse is? irrelevant for most video. And those timelapse images are possible simply by shooting raw with a d7000 - I can pull 6 stops out of the shadows with that camera.

That's what I said. HDR means? High Dynamic Range and HDR images are achieved by taking three or sometimes even more images and putting them together. And so of course you can only create a timelapse with HDR because the pictures are taken in intervalls. :-)

Planning to go back for at least a year, maybe longer:) gem is the right word, nice one. Turkey definitely is 1 of my favorite countries for traveling. It has snow capped mountains, huge - jungle like - forests, desert like places with amazing landscapes and villages, and it's? surrounded by seas. add the various cultures and you have an amazing place full of history (over 10.000 years) from the very birth of religion to places like Troy et cetera :) I highly recommend a visit :)

But too answer your question, Istanbul does have a huge traffic problem :P Though in other parts of Turkey this is not so much the case. The further east you go, the less cars. Nowadays over 22 million people live in Istanbul (including surrounding villages/towns that have now been swallowed by the city and have no become suburbs of Istanbul. If you live in the outer rim on the Asian side, and you have to travel to outer parts on the Europe side, it'll take you? a day to get there.

It's actually the most amazing city I've ever been too (and I have travelled all around the world). I don't want to sound disrespectful towards the maker of this video, but to me the city is much more exotic, filled with culture and delicious foods, ancient and new at the same time, lying both in Europa and in Asia. It has so much history (dating back from before Byzantium, after that Constantinople and nowadays? Istanbul) that it can still be felt with every step you take today :)

Too bad it doesn't have HD Video capture :( Nikon make the next P90 with HD video least 720p with min 30fps. Also the LCD screen should flip to the left side and swivel? all the way. Very useful feature.

O functie foarte interesanta si extrem de utila la Nikon COOLPIX S9100 mi sa parut filmarea slow-motion cu 240 frame-uri pe secunda. Incredibil de multe amanunte interesante poti descoperi filmand in acest mod. Numai pentru asa ceva si ma gandesc foarte serios sa am un mic COOLPIX cu mine tot timpul in buzunar.
