Die BoP bei den GT3 ist so ausgelegt das die Kisten 9 Runden fahren können und dann tanken müssen. Dafür ist dann auch der Tank ausgelegt. Beim Verbrauch hat? Audi geschummelt. Die hatten nen 120 Liter Tank aber der musste nicht voll gemacht werden um 9 Runden weit zu kommen. Dementsprechen konnten die woanders Gewicht weg nehmen da die ja mit 120 Litern im Tank eingestuft wurden. 20-30 Kilo macht einiges aus. Außerdem konnten die beim Tanken Zeit sparen.

Hmmmm, this strikes me as looking a little weak. I know they can work wonders with action shots, but? none of those drivers look frantic, or have any real sense of emergency about them. From where you film it it doesn't look like this scene is going to be too impressive. I hope I'm wrong, and I'm still very much looking forward to it. Not bad a bad capture!

We should not confuse separate categories when it comes to the Radical SR8. Also, the Zonda did it 2 months after the Ferrari so, at the time, the Ferrari was quickest in its category. Do also note that the Zonda is a much smaller platform that is about 600 lbs lighter than the Ferrari. It should? be faster just because of the weight difference.

You have to look at each car. The 599 is almost 3000 lbs while the Zonda is only 2400. Let's have them try it with the same curb weight and see what happens... Remember, these are production based so are built on the road going versions. While the Zonda is quick, Ferrari? deliver much more than just performance numbers.

The f12 is much lighter, faster, and has a better aerodynamic design than the original 599 so you can't really compare it to that time. Also that time was not set by a driver from ferrari unlike the time of the 599xx. The 599xx uses the same basic design as the updated magnetic suspension in the? the f12. Everything they improved for this car they have improved for the f12, power, weight, aerodynamics, brakes, gear changes ect. I don't necessarily think it will be faster but it should be close.

The F12 would be much slower. The stock 599 did 7:47 meaning this one is 50seconds faster. Although there isn't much weight difference, much of? the weight in this 599xx has gone into chassis hardening, better suspension and all sorts of stuff. Also the 599xx costs >£1,000,000.

I own an RS250 It is an INCREDIBLE car for the money and seriously fast. I absolutely adore it. In saying that, theres no way that it would? keep up with a GT2 RS with the same skill driver, not a chance, it would get pasted. But the nurburgring is about driver skill and knowledge on the track and this video is testament to that. All things considered though, the megane did an impeccable job nonetheless

I agree! I have driven it and the chassis was superb! I took it around a mountain road and it surprised me how well it cornered and how it slightly oversteered on the corner exits to help it through. Wonderful car... only thing that slightly annoyed me was the power? delivery on the low range - you really need to keep the revs up for it to shift.

The Viper ACR-X laps the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:03.

This is the ACR-X which had slicks, cage, additional 160 lbs removed, headers, exhaust. It was not street legal and ran 7:03. However, the ACR is completely? street legal and beat all the cars you listed anyway at 7:12, and just 1/2 second behind the Gumpert. Granted, a 1/2 second in racing is a lot.

No, it was a street car CONVERTED to racecar. It had? a completely different chassis, body material, etc. If the ACR-X would have been designed to compete with that Porsche it would have weighed considerably less and never have had two seats, heavy glass,, etc. If you can't tell the difference, then there's nothing else I can say, or care to.

Endlich mal ein qualifiziertes Kommentar ;) Du hast auch Recht aber mir geht es um das subjektive Fahrgefühl und nicht NUR um wahre Performance. Ich bin jemand der einen GT3 RS 4.0 vor einen GT2 RS zieht. Genau so mag ich das SMG einfach lieber als DKG, weil DKG einfach sehr langweilig (schnell aber langweilig) ist.? Und an sich finde ich den F10 (ich habe einen) einfach viel zu gross und schwammig. Ist fuer mich eher ein 7er geworden. Die Zeiten ändern sich halt leider... :(

stimme ich dir zu und trotzdem nimt der neue F10 (hat man da vorher schon vermutet das die reduzierung auf V8 nicht gut fuers marketing ist und man versucht so die weniger techisch begabten hinters licht zu fuhren??) den alten immernoch gut ne halbe minute ab durch a) schaltzeiten b) bessere gewichtsverteilung da der V8 eben um einiges leichter ist, c) um einiges bessere bremsen und d) gut 75 HP mehr, ich liebe den V10 und dachte wie du bis ich? den neuen fahren durfte :))

It's actually very predictable. I got a chance to play in the snow one of the rare times it actually fell here,? and it is quite controllable and usable. Did you watch the vids I posted above?

Hondas RT4WD is not for any racing/rally purposes at all. You have to loose grip on the front to make the rear work. And You never know when it will happen, if at all. This means the cars behaviour is changing rapidly between FWD trhough AWD to RWD but mainly You have plenty of understeer, not like? in this crazy vid :-)

The Cayman S has 295 hp, the CSL 360 hp. Actually, the CSL is roundabout 30 sec faster than the? Cayman S, but the Driver of the CSL had not much experience at the Ring. I pull the trusty pocketcam out just as the first few drops of rain fall on Wehrseifen. An E46 driver loses control on the entry to the corner, and ends up rolling all the way around. Race was the VLN #2 of 2012 and this was only the second lap of a four-hour event!

Hallo, bin Streckenposten bei der vln? aber fahre auch selber rcn....die Anweisung ist ganz klar: die strecke wird nur betreten wenn für den Fahrer Extreme Lebensgefahr besteht (zb Brand) oder wenn man die Fahrzeuge weit genug vorher sehen kann und die Fahrer die unfallstelle auch weit genug vorher sehen können!

I like how some people just want the marshalls to run into traffic and try and save the driver, yea that might be the highest priority, BUT its not going to help if you try to dodge these cars and end up getting hit yourself, then you'll have YOUR body there on the ground, a possible injured driver and? just a bad scenario. Its better just to get to the driver when safely possible.. no?

Dein Name ist Programm. Das ist nicht einfach Geschwätz, das ist richtig, die Strecke muss frei sein, bevor sie betreten werden darf ! Du würdest natürlich direkt auf die Strecke rennen und dich überfahren lassen, zudem ist der Teil der Strecke äußerst unübersichtlich, für die Fahrer und Streckenposten. Du hast schlichtweg kein? bisschen Ahnung.
