In a sense, doesn't sending a bike out in pursuit of another legitimise their travelling at high speed? All it provides evidence of to me is that if used properly, high speed is just fine on a bike...I would not say that motorcyclists riding was beyond reproach, I just think? the act of following/chasing someone is potentially creating a much more dangerous circumstance. He was wrong to speed through the village, but out on the straight getting to 110mph is not much of an achievement on a bike...

well i would like to agree though, Autobahns are built to a certain specification for cars to travel at high speeds safely, so to up the speed limit on most roads and highways in most countries wouldn't be the smart thing to do, secondly? human's precise judgment of speed doesn't exceed much faster then 30 Kph, and also judging off that fact that 80 % of drivers tailgate or follow closer then 3 seconds behind the car in front goes to show we are not really ready. SO why are local councils LOWERING so many speed limits. A few examples by me - a 70mph dual carrigeway lowered to 40MPH, a 70 to 50 and 60 country road to 50. On all those roads I checked and it's ONLY been accidents involving drunk/drugged drivers, pedestrians who shouldn't have been there and? police vehicles at excess speed. Only 2 crashes by the public at low speed in a queue. Driver error! It's to restrict traffic, cause congestion and use it as an excuse to charge to use roads in future.

Don't even think about it. Most people don't even realize they are countersteering. It is just how you negotiate a turn. There is no thinking involved at all. It's just how the bike behaves. Just like Mordeth 13 said, if you've ridden a bike, you've already countersteered and had no idea you were doing it or even what it was. You just called it learning to ride a bike. Same with a motorcycle. His is the best explanation I've heard? along with the gyroscopic effect of the turning wheels resisting.

Don't let the idea of counter steering affect the way you think a motorcycle works, it's exactly like riding a bike... just with a lot more power. You don't need to know at exactly what speed you need to start counter steering, it? feels very natural once you are riding.

It is a kit. I have bought it and put it on my 1976 free spirit road bike. It "feels" fast but is not that fast. While it did come in a kit I had to go through slot of trouble fitting it and had? to make a whole new back hub for it. It was a pain but worth it. Yea. I like the enduro's too.Insurance is the only thing that keeps me from buying any motorcycle because it would be more than I could afford at the moment. I've used my motor bike to go to my college 15 miles away once before, but it takes a lot longer than using a regular motorcycle or car. It's fun to keep up with traffic while at the side of the? road and you get a lot of attention on one because people don't expect to see a motor on a bicycle.

I think people forget that it takes power to compress the air in the first place, and where does that power come from? Unless you're using all wind turbines and solar panels to compress the air, you really aren't being all that green, especially since it doesn't seem to be an incredibly efficient design, when you look at? how much air it takes to go a short distance. Air power is more efficient than what? Gasoline? Compressed air has about 0.54% of the energy density of gasoline. Hence, assuming the same engine efficiency for this bike versus a gasoline bike, you'd need 190kg of air to go as far as 1kg of gasoline. The air would also have to be dehydrated, since? expansion in the cylinders would cause the water vapor to condense, either flooding the cylinders or freezing in valves. And air-powered vehicles have been around since the 1920s.

This "bike" I think is perfect 4 the persons stuck permanently in a weelchair Cause they can feel again the "freedom" the bike is offering u at a much lower risk ;)

you can't drive between the lanes and the cars that are stopped in a traffic jam as fast as on a bike or a big scooter, but it's possible...? and of course you should put the stabilizers down before entering traffic jams like that -> YT-search: "MonoTracer Doha traffic" when you need to stop in a turn and put the stabilizers down fast enough, they can protect you from falling until a certain leaning angle... but try to hold a BMW R1200GS in a situation like this...

That would make it a reverse trike. Reverse trikes are not stable and are hard to control. They do not lean unless it is designed to do so. The back end of a reverse trike has a tendency to come around especially in slippery situations due to over steer and very little weight on the back end. I have driven the T-Rex and it is? way too unstable at speed to be of any use for me. Taking turns with it was really scary as it just wanted to slide all over the place.
