MMS in small doses is rather harmless. Sodium? chlorite is harmless in small doses too, but when mixed with an acid, it turns into chlorine dioxide, which becomes less harmless. So it's best to go light on the acid IMHO. Check your pH. Most people are more acidic than alkalinic these days and full of vitamin C so adding more acid is not only unnecessary, but harmful when ingesting MMS. I'm no doctor so take with grain of MMS err salt.

Mixed with an acid it turns into chlorine dioxide, which is an industrial bleaching agent. That's all there is to it. The FDA has warned the public twice in 2010 that this product is dangerous. I tried the MMS for a while, gave up on it. I'm now using BHT, because I have studied it and decided that it has a MUCH better success rate for hep c than this? MMS. I can just swallow a capsule of the bht, no taste, no chemicals. I trust it much more. Now, the MMS is probably better for other disease, but, for Hep c, BHT is the only way to go. I have found people with legitimate blood tests showing the BHT works. NOWHERE did I find anyone with hep c stating a blood test has proven it works.
