I'm a huge fan of this movie but didn't see the remake. I know nothing about acting but would like to think I would maintain? artistic integrity above ego. My guess is it's more difficult to do so these days. Feels like a shame. Take that with a grain of salt. My pretty severe unhappiness with modern day aesthetics is probably silly.

Thats not the correct way to use the word 'first'.. you needed to have a 'second' lodged somewhere in there. Neutrinos still don't travel faster than light. The satellites used to measure the speed of the neutrinos moved in the time period and this was not accounted for in the experiment. This total motion of the satellites accounts for the neutrinos speed? to actually be less than the speed of light.

I Googled him bc of his infectious enthusiasm for the completely counter-intuitive rules that govern the sub-atomic world. Umm? im pretty sure that you anyone who has the mentality of saying in acedemics because they "couldn't get a real job", means that at a vastly competitive stage (as you implied earlier you are undertaking) you will struggle with the motivation necessary. I actually enjoy my degree and would like to continue to studying it. Additionally, I wouldn't have chosen physics as my major, had i not shown the ability and passion to cope with the work in both mathematics and physics itself. Be optimistic!

um....have you ever been to graduate school?? ? I am currently a researcher and it's FULL of 'researchers' a.k.a. I couldn't get a real job with my major so I stayed in academics. Being a 'researcher' means nothing and if by researcher you mean a theorist that's probably the equivalent of finding a needle in a haystack; unless you're a genius or prove something ground-breaking, it's not going to happen.
