Whatever happened to the good old days when LucasArts actually made good games and all? lol and I mean we've been waiting forever for games like an Empire at? War 2, RC 2, BF3, Kotor 3, etc but all we get is an MMO which? no one asked for(looks great, but wth honestly) and "Star Wars Kinect". >___> There WAS TFU which I thought might have been a beacon of hope but the second one felt rushed as hell, I thought I was almost half way through the game and I beat it.

THAT BOOK ties up loose ends with KOTOR 1 and 2. The Old Republic just states something

No need to rage dude, but if you have played TOR, you would know that the unanswered questions left from both the? KOTORs are answered in content in SWTOR, Revan, The Exile, Bastila, and HK-47 all make appearances. Plus dialog is specifically added to tell the story of what happened after KOTOR 2.

Plus, Another kicker for you, Bioware hasn't even responded to anything about Kotor 3, if you want to make the claim that they halted for 4 years to make Mass Effect? they're development team is big enough to make two games at once. Like they did with Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age and Old Republic AT THE SAME TIME. So no, you're wrong. The Old Republic was announced in 2008, yes BUT Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 3 was canceled in 2004, it was canceled as part of cuts aimed? at making Lucas Arts successful which they haven't been since 06. Bioware made KOTOR 1, they didn't make KOTOR 2. Why would Bioware wait 4 years after the cancellation to KOTOR 3 (which they probably weren't making) to announce The Old Republic in 08 (while it was still far away from being done) only to release it in 2011? Read your facts kid.

I've been puzzled by Lucasarts ever since Gladius. Gladius was an amazing strategy game pitting you in gladiator fights with gladiators from a? school you made. The game was different every time you played depending on which gladiators you hired and which skills you had them learn. I played this game with friends over a period of 2 years. The game won some awards and they even had the storyline finish off with a cliffhanger setting up for the second game. LucasArts cancelled the sequel. Booo

I'm guessing you didn't grow up with the adventure games then. If it wasn't for games like Monkey Island back in the early 90's LucasArts would have never gone on to make the big Star Wars titles as George Lucas originally wanted to keep away from the franchise until he was sure that LucasArts was ready. I like Star Wars games too but to be honest they've not exactly been? all that good since probably Battlefront 2.

Did I say something about this particular game? No, I live in a cave, but even as a cave person I know that many old games are incompatible or have problems running on emulators. Besides you can't hear real sound like through AWE 64 Gold or any Roland sound card and can't use 3D graphics or in my case 3dfx Voodoo II 1000 with? some old 3d games. May be I am a little old fashioned, but I would rather have sex with a real woman then with a sex doll, but you probably too young to understand that.

I honestly adore the Star Wars world, and throughout the years loved Republic Commando, Bounty Hunter, so forth. So naturally, I was extremely excited to see the new story of the force unleashed, and when I played it I as well loved it. The second was...okay. It fixed EVERYTHING from the first, aside from the story, which is what I enjoyed most. If lucasarts wakes up and works? off the cliffhanger of the first Republic Commando, I will praise the company hands down.

Star Wars needs to be put away for awhile, its getting milked to death now. I'll be glad when Old Republic comes cause it will keep the die hard fans busy? for a few years. More adventure games like Monkey Island need to come back and LucasArts should realize this from the reception and sales that the last special edition did and with the collaboration with TellTale to make the Tales of Monkey Island game.

I actually played this game just a? little while ago and I must say...what are lucas arts thinking!? this is not a good game at all, not even as a rental. The AI is HORRIBLE, they just stand around and shoot at you with uncanny accuracy. the voice acting is pretty bad and it really doesn't deliver.

I disagree, 2000 was the death, but imo, 2009 marked the rebirth, with Tales Of Monkey Island being full on kick-assness!!! (it's a word.... now :P). Seriously play Tales or the remake of The Secret Of Monkey Island or the up coming Monkey Island 2 remake! Adventure games? are on there way back! Especially judging by the end of Tales!!!

A golden egg at the end of the age. Two years before the end of the Adventure Games. Monkey Island 4 was the last of the Adventure Games, in my opinion. It died afterward, really. 2000 was the year of the death of Adventure Games. Occasionally we get things like Sam and Max with seasonal releases. But that's really the only memorable game released since the end of the AG Age. Rest in Peace, Adventure Games. VIVA? LA REVOLUCION!
