If you look at the results on the written review under subjective it seems? like the BRZ is the more well rounded one. Genesis might have a slightly more comfortable (softer) ride and more room but only slightly. BRZ was top for: excitement, steering, brakes, handling, seats, ergonomics, and was only down 1 on luggage space. They're both good cars but I think the more well rounded of the two, especially if you like to have some fun is the BRZ. Best to test out both and make your own choice.

this is pretty much what I expected from the review. Its hard to compare the three because they were designed to be different animals from the beginning. The Genesis Coupe will never will a comparison between the? BR-Z because its based on value. I can tell you this, for everyday driving you will be a fool to not take the genesis, unless you got 26K to blow on a Sunday/ track car. All good cars, but I think this comparison just convinced me to get the 2013 3.8 R-SPEC. Thanks R&T!

The brakes are vented discs...all you would need is brake? pad replacement just like any other car. the A7 is actually pretty much the exact price. apologies again for comparing it to an avalon...but an equally equipped new avalon hits near $45k which i don't really consider 'cheap'. And i assume, and i could be wrong, that people able to spend about 60-65k on a car won't mind spending a bit more
