Well you see, the tires are actually weighted. The weights of each tire are positioned probably at the top, so that when the first tire is given the initial force, enough momentum is carried over to bounce onto the next tire.? Now, eventually the tire would roll back considering this process can only be done in a short distance (hence several tires) before rolling back down the incline. The wheels are carefully weighted so that the least jog will destroy the equilibrium,? bringing the weight from the top to the bottom, thus rolling the tire. Before it can stabilize, it knocks another tire the same way. They are indeed able to roll uphill for very short distances this way..... You are a fucking idiot

Here in Australia, this car won car of the year because of its drivability (among others). Maybe ur definition of? 'excitement' isn't all about losing control of ur civic at high speed. Sure, it's expensive, but I don't think a Golf Gti has an advanced hybrid motor in it. (which some people have yet to appreciate) Oh, and the CR-X had a 1.5 92hp engine in it. Once again, YOu need to look into the past a bit.

ok safety first,but then why did they put a 1.5 112hp engine in it,it's slow and not exciting. i drove one last year and for the money(in europe this thing costs 30.000euros-just to compare,a Golf Gti 210hp and more or less same equipment is 25.000euros?????)it's not worth it.in the 90's Honda was the leader in small sports cars,not any more they should make it a CR-X? instead of a CR-Z.

I am a total fan of the 90's Hondas. My favorite was my '92 Prelude VTEC and I also had an original '88 CR-X. I agree with you, those were fun. I like the way the CR-Z looks, but? yes it does need a bit more spunk. I test drove a manual version. That being said, it is impossible to bring back the light-weight 90s versions in a cost effective way. I guess you could use carbon fiber or lightweight aluminum, but that would raise the price of the car to an unattainable level.

before you post comments like these better know about cars. Firstly there isn't any comparison between the GT-R and the R8. The Nissan outruns the R8 in every single aspect. Also power comes down only in a straight line drag or on uphill climbs. But suspension set up and the chassis is what makes a car corner handle. Listen to the video they clearly say at? a straight the R8 is gone. But on corners the Civic keeps up. Now that's what the video puts through! Understand that at least try.

I bought my CRZ the first week it went on sale in the U.S. and am still thrilled by it a year and half later. I only spend $30 a? week on gas after averaging 45 mph and 42.5 mpg. after 20,000 miles. I probably drive it in normal mode 80% of the time and 10% in ecomony and 10% in sport. With the gas mileage I get there isn't a need to drive it in economy mode all though that day of $5 gal may be coming. All I can say is fantastic job Honda !

If i drive it in an economic prius kind of way i get 4.5 L on 100 km. (1:23 l/km- ish. ) ( easy on the lead foot and stick to the right with 100 km/h on a mostly highway route. When i drive it in sports mode, and more importantly, I accelerate more powerful, I still average 6.3l on 100 km. (1: 16 l/km-ish ) So i find it ideal. I dont always want to have an economic car and I dont always need a sportive car (when I use it for work i get a set amount? of ? p/km ). Best thing: Love the interior

@MniAK0 Let's put it this way: if you drive it in Sport mode, it needs some more fuel but it is enjoyable to drive, if you want to spare fuel you switch to Economy and chill out. In Europe it is not? more expensive than similar non-hybrid cars, I don't know about other countries...I do know though, that I crossed Germany driving between 100 and 110mph in Sport mode and I still made a very respectable 31mpg, with the batteries always providing a nice boost when accelerating, even at high speed! :)

Probably the only thing that i don't like about the Cr-z Concept is the tail lights the rest is good the one now is way better, but there's still some problems that it has and that is the lack of mileage, I mean if Honda wants a sport HYBRID then i has to at least get 40mpg, i mean like the focus is better then this and it costs less, you get the most of your money, the IMA may be Ok, but like a said the focus beats the mileage and the power, if this was? a class Honda needs to step it up.

Lol I might as well add my 2 cents in I think its going to have a DOHC high revving v6 putting down 100-110 per liter(depending on different countries emission laws) and the same electric set up we saw in the rlx so 70hp from 0 rpm till redline so honestly we are looking at 420-450hp for this car if they keep the weight down and with a good launch control which it will have because of all the low end torque? I say it will run low 3s to 60 and mid 11s for the 1/4 not exactly 458 status but fast

Well, if we take a look at it closely, electric motors provide torque at 0 RPM all the way till max whereas a turbo probably needs to spool up till 1700 RPM or so before it actually kicks in and then dies of somewhere around 5000 RPM. The NSX is likely to be 1300 kg, that's 300+ kg lighter than the GTR. With a 3.5 V6 direct injection that's most likely going to put out over 400 hp and two electric motors with probably 150 hp together, it would probably be like 530-570 hp or so. 0-62mph in 3? mayb

So...do I prefer the two electric motors or twin turbo??? Also...raw power may not be everything...but test suggest that the NSX will be in the range of 3.0-3.5sec for 0-60mph, whereas the GT-R is at a little over 3.0sec. I forgot to mention...this is a 2013 NSX, so best to compare it to the 2013 GT-R, which is said to bring a power boost to make it under 3.0sec. Now if? we talk distance...

Raw power is simply not as important as power to weight ratio and whilst there are no specs (power or weight) ACTUALLY reported for this car, Honda has come out and said that's what this car is all about. But this is all partly irrelevant, because if you know anything about Honda, you'd know they aren't remotely interested in straight line speed. You're also ignoring the two? electric motors on the front wheels of the new NSX.
