For the nutfart person. Amusing name. It's funny I'm responding to this, but bikes and? skateboards can' t really compare because they are 2 totally different vehicles. It's like comparing bikes to skis. I could say bikes to motorcycles. If you really want compare, can you do a rolling decade, pedal picker etc. A rolling decade to me would be the ollie kick flip. Anyway you can't really compare two of these vehicles. Both can be difficult depending on riding style.

If your talking about the whole ceremony this one lasted 3 hours and 12 minutes (according to wikipedia) and the most recent oscars lasted 3 hours? and 14 minutes. So there's not much difference but back in the 60s and 70s they were about 2 hours and a half. Look up Academy Awards on wikipedia it tells you all the running times :)

DeNiro is famous for being a hard interview because he is extremely shy, and imo quite humble (watch the interview Inside the actor's studio). I? think they were more playing along with Letterman than anything. They are performers, first and foremost. Letterman gets a bad rap which is a shame, because he's just being the same guy that NBC hired back in the 80's, sarcastic...actually he's mellowed since then

But maybe my opinion is a bit off. Look at what's happened since? The Occupy Wall St. protests. Granted they aren't on the same level/size as the 60's protests, but it's a start. As more and more people lose their jobs, homes, savings, etc, (and you can bet they will) to corporate & government corruption,greed & malfeasance, etc, you may see more & larger protests. If/when that happens, with 1 exception (the rich get richer....)? I am not sure what the ultimate outcome will be.

I see your point but the whole point about the sponsors is so you can ride without having to worry about? money. If your not sponsored and you ride, espically(sorry for spelling) big air your going to break something and that doesn't look good when your explaining to your boss... It is all about having fun and going bigger! The sponsors just means don't need to worry about living costs and you get to travel the world as a bonus!!

I have seen this higher reality... Once I saw a ½meter diameter white spiral growing in size, bending everything around it, then sucking me in. The reality I saw felt more real than this once - it was like a parallel? universe - a universe 001 where ours were the copy of the original. It depends on whether you think knowledge is a bad thing or good thing. Some would insist that ignorance is bliss, and would desire to stay within this 'matrix', unaware of how big the world they live in really is, and how much their experienced? reality is caught in one tiny subjective box. They would hate to stray beyond the boundaries of this dimension of intellectual 'thought'. Others, like to expand their 'general knowledge' of being, and may mediate or ingest entheogens.

Totally agree - I reckon this is the best scene as well. Great timing and varying the pace when they are talking across each other. Sydney Pollack gets 'frazzled' bang on. Tootsie is still a? great film (or certainly the first half is). Thanks for uploading!

This was a classic scene! ...The agent, and his client. The late Sydney Pollack was excellent, and the great Dustin Hofman of course! they don't make movies like this anymore. It showed a true actor in all his narcisism relate his feelings to is agent. Today as? great as you think they may be we have hardly no "actors" around these days...all we have is "eye candy, robots, or politicians who are in the buisness only, to make money and feel powerful; very little artists emerging today.
