Your first claim is something I agree? with atleast to a degree. But even an automated process is still self driven. One thing everyone tends to forget, is that the human brain isn't the the only thing which light or sound reaches in the universe. Everything in the universe down to the smallest particle experiences "something", nothing is empty or hollow. But imagining the laws of nature as automated makes the universe seem like empty mathematics despite the fact that everything experiences.
By: bellatrixthechicken. on 27 May 12, 23:07:18
why do the laws of nature need to be made? perhaps they always existed and are transcendent of our reality? Or perhaps they? came into being by chance or some autonomated process, with absolutely no "choice" whatsoever?
By: TheColaGoodfellow. on 27 May 12, 12:56:04
"Choice? is free will and will power. : assertion and you don't provide any evidence" Now you're ignoring the meaning of words. What is/isn't possible exists by nothing other than its own.... fill in the gap, it doesn't matter what word you put there, if it's completely self sustaining, which nature is, then it has something exactly identical to choice or free will.
By: TheColaGoodfellow. on 27 May 12, 12:37:02
"For something to decide something it needs to be conscious. Nature is not conscious." Based on the fact that all the laws? of nature are self made, there is no other option other than them possessing choice. And because choice requries consciousness we can then conclude nature has consciousness also.

2. PS. the second argument in my last comment was a reply to your second comment, to when I said "everything is made of his will power". It's true that religion isn't as provable as the existance of a God itself. There few ways I could prove to you that the Biblical God is the same one that is evidential in reality. But the reason I believe Christianity isn't merely blind faith, the Bible (The New testament most notably) is one of if not the best documented? collection of religious writings.

The more I look into history and the Hebrew and? Greek languages, the more I tire of atheists lazy and context less claims. Sure, some theists are like that too with things, but still.

3. And it's plain stupid because it destroys the point of Yahwists altering it atall. They don't earn for Yahweh by changing the scriptures so they worship El, Adonia AND Yahweh. There was evidently no inherent Yahwist bias in? the writings of the bible.
By: TheColaGoodfellow. on 18 May 12, 23:20:59
Why would I be ignorant and beat every ancient writing with the same stick when there are so many differences between them? People believe crap today, should I beat science I don't understand with the same stick just because it's based in the same timezone? Would you call me reasonable for that? Most of the people who would have been alive during the life of Jesus, would have existed during? the date of the writings in the Bible. They experienced their church being formed by miracles.
