Considering that comedians have become the new 'rockstars' of today in Britain and there are more comedy shows than ever on British terrestrial channels, I'd have to disagree, whether British or not. I think American humour for TV is really funny, such as Scrubs, Big Bang Theory & Friends etc. They're not crude & are well written, but I've watched many American stand-ups & just not been able to laugh. Chris Rock? is regarded as very funny, am I right? He just swears and talks about being black.
