Bose has good ANC but these have much better sound quality for half the price... Keep in mind that when you compare an ANC headphone to a non ANC headphone, you? get distortion because of the "anti-noise" that the ANC produces

Really I notice a difference just when using some? basic headphones lol. Flac has more clarity, better instrument separation, and etc. If you use an external DAC like the Fiio ones you do hear that difference. Well at least to my ears. I don't mean they suck as in bad quality. I mean iPhone doesn't take full advantage of the quality you get from the file. I should have worded it differently lol. My mistake.

Honestly, i've been a headphone enthusiast for a while, but I never seriously noticed a? noticeable difference between 320 kbps and FLAC, unless I am listening to something like the Beyer T1, the HD800, and the really lucky time at the Austin Headphone Meet, the 009, and with some seriously heavy Amp/Dac stacks. There are headfi threads made just to identify the difference. I never experienced that 320kbps "sucked", even with summit-fi equips. Definently not the best, but definetly not "sucky"

Just saying 320 kbps mp3 suck especially using them with an iPhone because it doesn't take full advantage of them you need to use Flac files. They range from 500kbps? to 1000kbps+

Iphone? Those have a terrible DAC so of course they are going to sound bad. Never listen to music on smartphones. You need to use a decent audio player. And yes he's right no pair of headphones sounds great on an Iphone in that price? range. But price is irreverent since it depends on how the head or earphones are built. That's why so $30 sennhesiers sound better than Beats Studios or Solos.

You seem to be farting things that don't even seem to make any sense. You act like theres NO WAY I listened to the Dre line because there arent TONS of Dre demo stations in like every store? I do have to agree the Dre line are great for amateur listeners, the price just bugs me far too much, not to mention the bass > all sound sig everyone loves for some? extremely odd reason. Theres just so many better options, that are cheaper, better sounding. If all you want is bass, check out the XB series.

If you are defending the beats your definition of "good sound" is loud bass. Yeah sure beats has loud bass. But what you need to realize is that loud bass is commonly muddy and distorted like it is in beats. If you buy something like audio technica ath-m50's you'll get loud bass and clear bass, which sounds infinitely better than distorted bass. Before you defend distorted bass,? it's the equivalent of scraping fingernails down a blackboard. It sounds good to no one.

Dude if you are getting beats just because your friends have them, then you? are an idiot. They are horrible. I have had the Beats Pro and traded them in after one week or horror for Denon D2000. SO LISTEN TO QUINNS ADVICE!
