He chose to put it in a lightweight, agile British chassis because he knew it would produce a car with better performance. A 1000bhp Hennessey Venom GT will be quicker than a 1000bhp Hennessey Corvette, and it's not the engine that makes the difference.

So power is everything? The way the car handles, how it breaks, where the center of gravity is, the steering, the suspension, how the driver sits in the car, and so on. That is JUST as important. Without that you can just put the massive engine in a Audi A3 and your argument would still be valid. This car would be just as much fun with a BMW M5 engine for instance, but? just a bit slower. It's a combo of British and American engineering. Not everything just is or isn't.

tuner car yes, but it has a high comp motor. this thing is gonna be helluva expensive to make make more powerful. to do a turbo, the motor will have to be rebuilt. a set of pistons cost about $800- just for the pistons. this reason is why i would not have minded 50hp extra? for a few thousand dollars more. Plus when you turbo a? car, all that hard work and money spent will mean nothing without a good tune. honestly 240hp would have been fine-a few bolt ons and 250ish would have been attainable

This review confuses me a tad. Considering that toyota is now racing two of the cars. It makes me? worry that toyota is just trying to generate publicity by putting the car out there...which is going to backfire horribly if it can't keep pace with its competitors, no small feet considering it will be up against porsches and corvettes, TT's etc. A drivers car is fine, but there isn't a single driver who likes watching another fly around a corner while his drifts off the line. When I test drove it they wouldn't allow launch control so I don't know that much from exp. but? it was quick without it. Every car it competes with that has launch control can be used at owners discretion. I just think they should of by now solved that issue. The BMW is not really a twin turbo. There's a scroll in the intake with two small turbine fans that rely more on intake pressure than exhaust. So when the mods come out and it actually gets a turbo iir will beat most that it don't now. Why BMW didn't use real turbos? like every other mfr. that's what BMW does they reinvent the wheel. Great car the Nissan though. Just cheap and you void warranty for using launch control which is cheesy.
