Hey man, I didn't? know that about Guild Wars 1 as I never played it, learn something new every day. Anyway, I agree that Avatar can't claim copyright on bio-luminescence. As said before, I surely wasn't hating or trying to say who was first or whatever. My statement about GW2 possibly adopting some stuff from Avatar is hereby invalid as I didn't know about the jungles, etc. Either way, I don't care anyway. GW2 looks very promising and so does the Sylvari.

I agree with nonconformalism guild wars 1 already had the large magical? jungles and floating rocks suspended only by vines, also I don't think avatar can claim copy right on Bio-luminescence, since that kind of exists in nature, and since these guys are a magical plant based race.... y'know what I don't know why I'm bothering with this, these are ideas they've had for awhile and they probably didn't have the technology or budget at the time to implement this sort of thing back in 2006-2007.

Not trying to hate on your comment or anything as I'm a fan of the Sylvari and don't mind the similarities. But Avatar came out in 2009 perhaps, but they've had a few years of development and all that stuff as well. I mean, it takes a lot of time to come up with all of it and design it, etc. If you take in consideration that the second Avatar film will be released somewhere in 2013-2014 you know it takes a few years.? So it is possible for GW2 to have adopted a few things and whatnot.

I don't think that's correct...the group "Old & In The Way" features Garcia, David Grisman, Peter Rowan, Vassar Clements, John Kahn, Richard Greene, and John Hartford. On their first album (also titled "Old & In The Way") I can't find any mention of Tony Rice, although I've found that he contributed some licks to some of David Grisman's quintet. If you can point me in the direction of some Garcia/Rice collaborations,? I'd absolutely love to hear them!

I remember my dad had this 8-track. I tried to find out so much about the town he was singing about in the song so I could go see the crazy police with samurai swords.
