I have a vicious obsession with the works of Mozart, but I'm not so pretentious as to avoid minimalism upon the sole pretense that it's simple. Complexity is? not what makes art enjoyable, it is the masterful application of complexity that makes it enjoyable; and a masterful application of simplicity could be enjoyed as well. Asian music is all about repetition and improvisation, I don't think it's fair to judge Glass music (which draws influence from Asian, specifically Indian music) 'boring' - because you're using the 'frame' of Western? music to judge him.
