I'd agree with you, but there is something about mech? combat that is just so intense. I'll probably end up buying it, even if it isn't very good. It does appear to have all of the element of a standard modern FPS, with a mech theme, but I think I'd enjoy blasting away mechs with chain guns and AT rifles than men with a FAMAS and an M1911. Just my personal preference, I guess.

The problem with saints row 3 is even though they let you wack pedestrains with a giant purple dildo they didnt let you custumize it properly. personally i would make it a giant green dildo. Well, I like Tomb Raider and Resident Evil, also Amnesia, Penumbra... these are all games with rich storylines and immersive gameplay. I HATE most? action-shooters, (like CoD, Battlefield...) Well actually, there are controllers shaped like guns that can give you force feedback and have precise aiming with realistic gun sounds (not like the shitty ones you get from cheap plastic toys). They add to the realism, so the game provides the sense of firing a gun, and the controller adds to the feeling of firing a gun. I think they use the same design as steering wheel controllers such as the g27. So if you have the controller it adds to the feeling of firing a? gun, but that's up to you.

But again they can't implement what it feels like such as the push back? on your shoulder, the ringing in your ears or the smell of burning gun powder after a shot (I have fired many guns). well both xD.they have different graphics,storylines and gameplay.but seriosly see some gameplay videos,read some reviews (both good and bad) and then choose the one you feel the one that appeals to you.i? played and enjoyed both and my personal oppinion: buy borderlands.more fun,more challeging,more DLC´s,better storyline.Dead Island is fun for several hours,Borderlands for months :D.

SEGA's sonicteam did a great job making a 20th celebration for sonic! They? got classic AND modern in the same game! Nitendo should learn from them! All they did was to put a few games in 1 CD thats it! And if someone want those game now? Well... I absolutely agree with what you say. Except for the part about being the only good Sonic since the 90's. Sonic Adventure 2 is still my favorite and I have played them all. Also Sonic Colors wasn't bad. It wasn't nearly as good as Adventure 2 but it was still a good game. Can't support some of the other ones like Wherehog though. That game was pure? failure.

Bungie (formally the developers of Halo for those who don't know) gained so much popularity because the thrived off the? creativity of their fans. They listened to the feedback the fans were giving them and adjusted the game to make it a more enjoyable experience.

So wait why would people buy the game if there not a sonic fan? Listening to the fans means listening to the people who like sonic. Why should we ask people who don't like Sonic how the games should be? COD fans will say make it an FPS, F-Zero fans will ask for racing and ext. well actually sony use to be in the lead in the? late 90s until microsoft xbox came along sony had beaten a record for selling the most systems of all time PS1 had like 120 million units sold PS2 had like 150 million units sold but when xbox came things starts to get pretty messy PS3 & xbox 360 are pretty tied so far they both got like 60 million units sold while the WII is starting to become boring now to most players since its just a motions system rather than normal

I think I can understand to a degree, but listening to the fans is exactly why this game was made in the first place and it's arguably the best Sonic game since? the 90s. Also, high popularity certainly doesn't mean good quality. If that was the case, the COD series, Farmville and Angry Birds would be referred to as some of the best games of all time.
