I live in California. The weather only gets down to about 20 degrees at MOST. I have a 60k warranty and only have 1k on it. I'm not going to touch it because you know how the dealers are about doing your own maintenance. My Father has been a? diesel mechanic for over 30 years now so he will be dealing with it. Lol

Ford changed to a steel pan on the later 2012 6.7 diesels. The plastic pans crack in the very cold weather from? the expansion & contracting of the heat created by the engine. Check the service bulletins on your truck. I always have the dealer check all the bulletins on a used vehicle when I buy one. I am serious about the Armoral, it wouldn't hurt!

It is just a matter of time before it cracks and looses 12 quarts of oil going down? the road. That Ford is a pussymobile compared to my 2000 F350 Lariat extended cab 8' bed SRW 4x4. The 7.3 is a slow-poke, but it will go 500,000 miles! The 2000 came with leaf springs and has plenty of room for 35" tires without a lift! The Dodge is with it's front coil springs screams pussy! LOL! Try a real test! Can it pull a 1969 big block Camaro and a heavy car trailer? at 80 mph on the Jersey Turnpike?

the 7.3 was underpowered? in horsepower, torque was fine... just compared to today's diesels it was slower. our 2000 f150 5.4 is underpowered in my opinion with 260hp and 350ft lbs. yet back then that was good. in todays standards that would be around the 365 that the ecoboost puts out..

the cummins may be ok.. but ford really knocks out? everything with their diesels lately.. the 7.3 was beastly but underpowered.. this thing is rediculous...the 6.7 has just so much power and is shown to be realiable from fords testing as the f150 ecoboost is.

love ford as well.. ever since our first f150/bronco we havent wanted a different truck.. driving a 2000 f150 currently with the 5.4l v8.. may be underpowered but for the year it was good! love the truck except milage but it is also a truck... we can tow way over what the limit is supposed to be and this truck just keeps kicking! love it! Next truck is gunna be a 6.7 or 7.3? diesel... hopefully we will get that one soon!

Coming from a person who actually knows what they are talking about, being as I worked at Ford in Louisville Kentucky ( where the super duties are made ) along with my Dad who has worked there for over 20 years now, these trucks are beautiful and the Super Duty have outperformed these trucks in my experience. Don't get me wrong the Dodge truck is an amazing truck but I just like the Ford body style better maybe it's just? because I grew up around Ford trucks but I like the Ford Truck better.

Nice looking. It is more important to me how a car drives and how comfortable it is. I'm sure the Fusion will be a great car. I hope the price doesn't go through the roof. It is nice to learn that Ford is going to build Fusions? in the Flint Rock, Michigan plant again. We need all the jobs we can get and my guess is that Ford will sell the Fusion as fast as they can build them. Hopefully we can get a new lower-mid level trim Fusion for $22-24,000 dollars. its really very simple actually...? the force on each car is inversely proportional to the stopping time, and since the stopping time will be the same in both cases, the force on each car is the same. youre thinking about kinetic energy, which isnt important when judging the severity of a collision

Yes without a clutch it's a clutchless manual on the automatics. it's exactly what the? mazda 6's has you put the tranny shifter into M mode and it has M+ and M- for upshifts and down shifts and it displays what grear you are in electronicly on the dashboard and if you want to put it back to automatci you can just change it over to D on the fly.

The shelby gt500 doesn't use the mt-82 transmission it uses the Tremec TR6060 guess where that's made. There you have it, no part of the shelby (that's what I meant by this car, sorry I thought this was a 2013 gt500 only video) is made in china. I will agree though ford does need to stop building the mt-82s? in china cause it will be more prone to issues, however it is still a really good tranny. It handles a lot of power and the problems it originally had were fixed by ford.

I've found that Ford's vehicles never need "mechanical" work. Their engines, transmissions and rear ends are solid, but then again, I actually? do my own maintenance and know how to properly care for a vehicle. I've driven the Focus, Explorers from different years, several F-150's (went from a single cab 4x4 F-150 to supercrew 4x4 F-150) and I traded the truck in on a 2012 5.0 and i've never had a mechanical issue with any of them. -_-

Even then, there's something like a 700 pound weight difference between this GT and a Veyron. If this GT has around 1,800 hp-2,000 hp or so, which is what i'm guessing it has, a Veyron would need well over 2,000 hp to match or surpass this, and who would modify a Veyron, and to such an extent? I could see someone modifying a Koenigsegg for some reason, or a Lambo as we've seen, maybe a? Ferrari 458 or one of those insane mercs / mcmercs to compete here but I doubt a Veyron will.

They Veyron is an impressive machine for sure. It's also well over 1 million dollars to own one. Whether or not the car would be capable of touching this time in a mile is irrelevant. The reality is enough money will buy anything and speed is something you can buy. Will anyone ever do that? Not a chance because it would make? no sense to butcher a quad turbo masterpiece when you could spend less on a different chassis and have way better bang for your buck.

I know that, the original question was why it looked so easy to achieve this speed over a mile, but a Veyron which costs the earth cannot even do it, my reply was simply that the Veyron is stock so if it was tuned to this? extent it would be even faster, I think a stock Veyron does the mile with about 212mph, so by tuning it wouldnt be so far out to be able to be faster than this. BTW I am not a "Veyron fan boy" as has been suggested, just stating the facts, cheers

..Ogier and Hirvonen, the strongest line up ford could put on the road given Loeb is Loeb and married to Citroen as he as always been as a WRC champion, I really like P Solberg, he is the last of the McRea, generation of drivers and has shake off his win or crash unreliability and deserves? his drive and will surely grow stronger and stronger, challenging for wins soon no doubt but Latvala.. a gent, a talent, a winner but how many more chances? 2 or 3 wins and a string of retirements a season

Honestly Ford,? what are your ambitions in the WRC other than commercialism to promote ford as a brand, feel sorry for Malcolm Wilson, Christian Loriaux and all involved in creating the brilliant Fiesta WRC which is, as have ford over the past years, under-achieving and failing to invest money in the most important ingredient, the drivers. Great chance to get a serious title contender in Sébastien Ogier, but ye allowed him to slip away to VW and settled for an average line up, enjoy 2nd.. again!

Some parts of the? video were so loud they hurt my ears while others were so quiet I couldn't make them out. I shouldn't have to constantly adjust the volume of the video to keep it comfortable. Other than that, great video.
