Alas, I dont think so.? I saw this production in previews last summer before heading back up to school and it was beautiful. If you live in NYC though, and have a NYPL Library Card, I think the library/archives at Lincoln Center can let you watch the official video recording they made for posterity.

I loved the show in DC but hated the red dress on Bernadette Peters, totally wrong for the character. ? I saw Dorothy Collins in the original, Peters doesn't even come close in portraying the lost hope of the character as Dorothy. Just my opinion.

The new dress seems more down-to-earth, as if? it would be something that a somewhat frumpy, depressed Phoenix housewife would have, to try to relive the glamour of her youth. She looked like too much of a knock-out in the red (she's still a knock-out, she is Bernadette after all, but the new dress feels more appropriate for Sally).

..sorry for the late reply :-).yes, I must admitt that Barbara Cook's voice and career is incomparable, that's why she is my favorite singer and I traveled 5000 miles just to hear her sing at Carnegie Hall...so I may not be smart but she did autograph my "Carrie " program and was very nice to me...that's the only singer I ever waited at the stage door? for....but I may have done the same for Dolores Gray had I ever had the opportunity...helas...

I play all different games because they all offer a different play style and perspective and i know plenty of gamers who play the same violent games you speak of, and who are the most pleasant and peaceful people you will ever meet, to me video games do a? lot more good than anything and it comes down to your morals and your neighborhood. i live in Cleveland OH, BTW That's why i said that it's wrong when you said that video games should be the blame for gangs killing each other and whatnot.

The colors! The Music! There are three movies (at least) based on the ZF, one in the thirties another after the war and then the 1960's Barbra Streisand version focused on Fanny Brice "Funny Girl". It's interesting to watch each to see how the clothes and sets change with the period, although THE period? for the Follies was the Gilded Age up into the Twenties. Even the music slowed down by the sixties, as music had split between generations. This one certainly packs the color.

I love the way literally everything was alive in these old? cartoons. Nothing was static or stiff; it all had life, individual characteristics. Everything could bend, stretch. And I especially love Mickey's facial expressions while he's singing! This is what all cartooning should aspire to be like. I mean, what's the point in animating something if you're not allowed to have fun with it? That's what modern cartoons lack, I feel; actual cartoon fun.
