It really isn't a kids movie. You have to be used to SERIOUSLY gruesome animation and drawings. And there is a LOT of bad language and alot of parts a little inapropreate for kids. It is more of an adult movie. It is like a? horror/romance/action rated R movie. I know it may seem a bit like a kids movie because it is a bout cats, but I wouldn't say it is. Since you are 11 i would suggest that you don't watch it. Or at least watch with serious caution.

Is because in anime, even when it intends to be creepy, it fails, the style in general just ruins it, most fucked up thing you ever see is wierd stuff and taboo transgression. But in this animations... they feel... more realistic somehow, more gritty, more scary and unsettling scenes, and most importantly some nightmarish hallucinations? and distorsion of reality. In short, supposedly "scary" and "fucked up" anime doesn´t have any shit on this type of films

You might wanna give "Watership Down" a watch. It's also pretty serious and brutal, despite being a story about bunnies ^^ It's a bit more subtle than Felidae, but it still has some pretty gruesome scenes. I first watched it when I was 3 and then my? parents hid the tape after finding out how bloody it was. I didn't see it again until I was 12 when I found the tape in the attic, but it had left such an impression that I could still remember some scenes. P.S: cat shag FTW XD

Also? take into account that in the 70 and 80s when these such movies were made, what was deemed child appropriate was much different than today, I mean back then spanking was a very common form of punishment, and now it's seen as abuse, and parents were more "loose leashed" when it came to what their kids watched. IMO, I believe that shouldn't have changed, nowadays parents think that their kids should think the world is all sunshine and puppies, when it's not.

Well it could go with the fact that this is NOT a kid's movie. Please note that not ALL cartoon's are intended to be kid's movies. Look at all the cartoon's on Adult Swim for example, many are cartoons but I know many? parents would deem them not child appropriate.

I'm not really sure but either it's "Pascal" who's singing, since he dislikes the humans (singins about Francis owner, Gustav),about their imperfections and is obviously living in luxury, ergo the white wine etc. Also he sings that Francis will come to see it all. Deep Purple died in the movie, and Cat killer on the loose. Well. Enough said. :D Maybe it's one of the other cats telling the songs story too, but I think? After seeing Viper's video using this movie I had to watch it. And just as I suspected I loved it! So it was only natural for me to make an amv with it. It truly is one of the best cartoon movies I have ever seen. I even like it better than Watership down. Although if you have a weak stomach I suggust watching some other movie x3

Well, the actual tv show that's my favorite is Sonic X. The show that I talked about is Ask Sonic or Shadow. They changed the show from it just having two people to up to three or four, plus guests. Start from episode one. They have eight full episodes so far.? Episode nine only has two parts to it because it's very new. You'll get a laugh or two out of it. ^_^

In Felidae wegen den Tierversuchen, in Warrior Cats wegen der Verbrechen an der Natur, die der Mensch begeht und den wild lebenden Tieren das Leben erschwert. Also ich finde nicht , dass hier irgendwen etwas? nachgemacht wird, aber es ist nunmal so, dass manche dies denken. Vorallem kann der Autor von Felidae Erin Hunter nichts nachgemacht haben, da das Buch "Felidae" zuerst herauskam. Liebe Grüße Gallianora

Also ich finde Felidae als Film ist genial und denke, mir auch das Buch zu holen. Aber auf jeden Fall ist es unmöglich Felidae mit Warrior Cats zu vergleichen, außerdem ist das? erste Buche "Into the wild" (Englische Originalausgabe!) nicht 2008 sondern 2003 herausgekommen. Aber es stimmt, dass das erste Buch in Deutschland 2008 veröffentlicht wurde. Des weiteren bin ich ein Warrior Cats -Fam und habe gerade die erste Staffel beendet. Lese gerade einen Extraband und hab das 1. Band der 2. Staffel

Das Warrior Cats Müll ist kann ich auf keinen Fall bestätigen Beide? Bücher (Warriors and Felidae) sind für sich toll, nur das Felidae halt mehr auf Krimi ist und bisl auf Menschen sind scheiße getrimmt, und Warriors eher auf Katzen unter sich bezogen. Also ich würde mit "ist der letzte Müll" nicht einfach so um mich werfen.

@Tierfreund97 Da muss ich widersprechen. Ich kenne und liebe beide Buchreihen (auch wenn ich dafür eigentlich zu alt bin ^^) und kann daher sagen, dass beide auf ihre jeweilige Art? sehr gut sind. Felidae ist nun einmal ein Krimi und Warrior Cats hat mehr mit Fantasy zu tun. Beides ist allerdings sehr gut mit liebenswerten Charakteren.

Hab den Film seinerzeit als Kind gesehen und dachte er würde jetzt an Magie verlieren, wie so viele andere, aber Fehlanzeige. Immer noch? einer der besten da atmosphärischsten und spannendsten Zeichentrick-Filme die je gedreht wurden. Zu meinem Bestürzen habe ich festgestellt das er in so einem Internationalem Filmlexikon (aus dem Wikipedia zitiert) als "verkrampft" und "zu dramatisch" und zu brutal beschrieben wurde. Ich nenne das "intensiv" und was besseres kann ein Film nicht sein.

Zweifelsohne. Es ist halt leider ein weitverbreiteter Irrglaube, dass Zeichentrick immer mit? Disney gleichzusetzen ist... ist ja bei japanischen Serien das Gleiche. DIe sind auch öft entsetzlich blutig und gewalttätig, aber trotzdem werden sie im Kinderprogramm gesendet... -.- Mit der Qualität der Filme/Serien hat das aber zum Glück nichts zu tun ^^

Ja, "Och, ist ja ein Trickfilm, muss? ja harmlos sein". Ich hab schon viel kranke Scheiße gesehen, aber nicht im Zusammenhang mit Miezekatzentrickfilmen... Erklärt, warum meine Mutter mich damals nicht ins Kino genommen hat. Nu hatte ich ja gehofft, die deutsche Version ist "echter" gesprochen als die Englische, aber deutsche Synchronsprecher waren noch nie ihren Lohn wird.
