I've gasketed the outlets and switches but there is still air coming from the actual outlets themselves, I've used the kiddie covers which helps but when I plug in something without a ground plug, the ground hole still lets in a breeze. It seems the air sealing I've done? has concentrated any remaining holes in the house to the smallest of areas. Very little furnace usage and no more three digit natural gas bills for the months of December and January are nice.

Very common problem with homes that have a forced air system. I liked your demonstration, but just wanted to add that sometimes there maybe an underlaying problem with the heat/ac duct system. Rooms with over sized returns to make up for the lack of others, say upstairs? You might notice this more often. Also any building under negative pressure, from? exhaust fans and such. This can sometimes be addressed by adding make up, or fresh air intakes of 5 - 10% outside air.

I have not had that problem. I wonder if an oversized plate would improve the problem or slightly trim the foam but still keep it on the wall surface. If there was some? drywall repair around the box during drywall finish stage that could wave the wall around the box and may make a poor fit. Is this happening on all the boxes or just one? +++Bob

fema's make tar. period. cool that it runs the engine how many rpm can it make? running the? engine without load doesn't mean much. takes about 2hp per kw. you won't make as much running on wood.... just saying from experience. yes i've had fema units run and tar up an engine. there are much better designs.

It's a nice looking contraption but, all are stuck on batch? feeding. Someone needs to think outside the box. Continual flow is only possible way they will ever be viable on a commercial or large scale. Just a Suggestion.

Would even rotate the retort if that's what it is. In a steel oven on casters with fins to tumble the material through. Continual flow? of shredded MSW ideal. Good Luk
