This is a great set of videos. I recently purchased the 550B and Dillon's user guide DVD. Your videos make an excellent supplement to Dillon's DVD. In some aspects of assembly, you do a better job than their DVD and the instruction manual that comes with the unit. (Example: You attach the operating handle and use that as the guide for where to place the cartridge collection bin bracket. That's much better than Dillon's "approximately one-eighth inch clearance" instructions.) Many? thanks.

Awesome do-it-yourself, set up instructions! A+ I? bought one of these RL 550 B presses, watched your excellent video, set mine up, making .45 rounds like a pro now. Thanks for taking the time to make the video. A+ you got it all, just one goof in your set up, but other than that perfecto! ( the goof is the failsafe rod for powder delivery. and I don't really know if it matters which way you put it in, but the instruction manual shows the assembly from the other side.)

The primer size depends on the cartridge you are loading. For instance, .45ACP uses large pistol primers (though some now use small pistol primers!) and 9mm uses small pistol primers. He already showed in part 1 how to install the primer bar thing.? You just need to unscrew the two screws that hold in that tall bar, lift it up, pull out the current primer bar and stick the new one in, then screw that tall thing back in. See the first video.

Thanks alot for this vid it was very helpful! I was looking at getting this same press. I'm thinking about getting in to reloading but I? have a quick question for you. When you do rifle loads on this thing do you have to trim them or does the resizing step do that for you? I understand that the cases will strech sometimes and you have to trim them, Is that needed on this type of press? And when in the steps would you do that?

No, she's using what are called open chords... just played in different positions verses the basic positions.. open chords give the basic Em A F#maj? etc a sweeter sound.. I use these chords all the time..rarely use the basic D's and C's..

I'm pretty confident its a Taylor. Like I'd bet my life on it.? And its from the 14 series, but I can't pick what level. Top is spruce, and the back seems to be rosewood, so maybe a special release 314 or 814. The appointments are understated, but it could just be a bit older. It doesn't have the typical obnoxious treble sound of a typical taylor so I think it is a more mature guitar. Unless it is a cedar top and a 714, in which case disregard everything I've said. Haha
