A while back i thought Ovechkin and Crosby were two of the best players in hockey today, 2 amazing players, one goalscorer one playmaker. But these 2 seasons have made it clear to me: Crosby is hands down the best overall hockey player in the world today, in a class of his own. Its the statistics, his 2 way playing, everything he does. Seems like NHL teams have found out how to shut Ovechkin down, but that hasn't happened to Crosby. 12 games 21 points this season, he is unstoppable.?

I doubt he hates him because he's good. Maybe its because he whines so much and thinks that he should get every call he wants because he is a gifted? player. He talks shit and then if someone approaches him he just skates away or lets the refs handle it. Only time he threw a punch at Giroux was after the ref intervened. Yeah I have and giroux I said is a top 5 player but until he starts putting up 40 goal seasons or even 80+ assists I still dont consider him the best. And hartnell hadnt scored 30 goals in like 3 years and then giroux comes in and makes him nearly a 40 goal scorer. He is good but not the best. Also look at malkin. James neal had 1 goal with the penguins last season. He know is a 40 goal scorer. I know giroux fixed hartnell but? then malkin was what 3rd or 4th in the league in assists. And then 2nd goals. Thats a great sign that he not only scores but makes everyone around him better. Right now giroux is just setting people up. Trust me he will drop off

Datsyuk is the best best defensive fwd in the game. And crosby is getting there. Giroux isnt the best but i expect him to be the kind of? guy who gets around 90pts to 100 a season. And you saying he is the best makes you sound like yoiur 15. Remeber at the start of the season giroux looked like the clear cut mvp and might even get over 60 goals.
